I find all the voice acting in X-Men ‘97 to be especially rubbish, so I won’t hold that one against him lol. But he reminds me of Roger Ebert’s complaint about Paul Henreid in Casablanca - he’s constantly playing characters that context tells me SHOULD have some charisma, likability or presence, and yet he’s just always the least-interesting or likable person in the room, no matter the room. Also, on White Lotus in particular, his American accent just sounds…weird to me.Dang not even in White Lotus? I really liked his voicework on X-Men 97 too.
Skarsgard as Batman is such a perfect choice but if he's gonna be running parallel to Pattinson he might be too close a Type.Ethan Peck or Bill Skarsgard are my picks at the moment. Skarsgard in particular strikes me a choice in a similar vein to Keaton and Pattinson. Those two are my favorite Batman actors so I have a bit of a preference for him.
Agreed... he plays the same monotone expressionless robot acting in everything. Not sure how he ever even got a job as an actor. One of the most dreadfully boring screen presences I’ve encountered, honestly.
Uhhhh...no...He was boring in Underworld and equally dreadful in The gentlemen...Theo James is a great actor, the DCU would be lucky to have him in a major leading role. Just doesn't feel like either a natural Batman fit to me or an interesting quirky choice.
Instinctively, I share that feeling.Skarsgard as Batman is such a perfect choice but if he's gonna be running parallel to Pattinson he might be too close a Type.
Alan Ritchson ...His REACHER role always makes me believe he would make a great Batman. Big, brutish, scary, and funny with one liners. He is an obvious choice. Which means he won't get it. They will go with some young super skinny guy again and pad his suit.
Don't like either option for the DCU Batman. There are better, more interesting actors for the role. And unless you're making a Dark Knight Returns or Absolute Batman movie, I don't really think that he shoud be a big, brutish brick-wall.
Have one in mind, but I'll keep it for myself for now.Care to list some actors you would like to see?
It seems like it has once again been confirmed to be a Batman and Damian Wayne movie during the latest press round.Sounds like this project is being re-developed; maybe we don't get Damian Wayne after all?
