Yea and then Walt and the dad meet again. UuuGh that whole heroin setup was f**king gnarly.

Same here, and it's a bad feeling because I think it might top Weeds' second season finale. :(

yeah, jesse better disappear or jane's dad will murder him. i just hope he finds jane's death as a wakeup call and doesnt sink deeper. :csad:

I wonder of they will go so far as to take Jesse out of the show either by death or some plot device...

I could see them going there...

When Walt stood over and watched Jane...you know what...that scene was so powerful. Give the guy a freakin emmy for goodness sake!

This show is seriously the best thing on tv these days. No question.

well cranston won an emmy last year i believe, and well, frankly, he's MUCH better this year.

this show needs some recognition, and i think cranston deserves it again as well.

i agree, watching his teetering on the edge of becoming a drug lord is amazing.

If Cranston didn't win an emmy first time around, he would definitely take it this time. Everything about this show is brilliant and he carries it so well.

Still Walt deserves to ****ing rot after last week. Thats why hes such an awesome character cuz after last week I have no love for him whatsoever. Hes gone from a dying man try to make alotta money for his family when hes gone to a cold detatched sociopath and he needs to pay for it in some way. Seriously though I dont care how bad that ***** was ****ing with his business that **** was just cold man I want Jesse to find out that Walt was there and I want him to shoot him in the ****ing heart

Spoilers in this post so skip if you don't wanna know loL.

He wasn't sociopathic, he CLEARLY was troubled by the scene. He wasn't heartless. He was about to save her, and it is the first time I'm disappointed in Walt but in every other situation he's had a fair amount of time to think things through.

S**t happened. Walt for the first time in a while didn't think through the consequences, seeing this as an easy solution to a big problem. There is no other way Walt would have been able to truly help Jesse and Jane was way too big of a risk. She was influencing his partner.

Maybe if Walt knew what they were planning to do things would be different, but instead they tried to celebrate one "last" night.

i agree, he's such an amazing character. at times he's living up the criminal side of his life, and then you see him with his daughter and he's just a dad.

as for what he did, i dont know, i dont agree with what he did, but i can understand why he did it. at the bar both of the men were kind of talking about their children, the people they look out for. and i think more then himself, walt is looking out for jesse, he really does not want jesse to end up killing himself or being a junkie, and if the only thing that will bring him out of that (hopefully), is seeing someone close to him die from that very thing, then so be it.

Believe me a junkie first response to someone close to them dying is to get high.

i mean jane threatened walt's life pretty much by saying she would expose everything. in addition, he almost looks at jesse like a son now and jane has really brought him down.

that was obviously such a hard decision, and you can tell he was really torn, but what he ended up doing was tying up a loose end and helping jesse out indirectly.

Oh geez, what a disappointing finale...

A ****ing airplane collision? Come on! All that build up with the black and white intros of the pink bear, body bags, glasses and cracked windows and we get a ****ing airplane collision. I feel extremely cheated.

:csad:

Yea as soon as I saw dude was an airtraffic controller I knew exactly what that was at the beginning

737 Down Over ABQ
haha, i thought the season finale was fantastic. :woot::up:
at first i was kind of taken aback, but the more i let it simmer, the more i loved it.

Yea think about it because it all stems back to Walt the whole plane collision couldve been avoided if Walt and Jesse had never started cookin.

yeah, and i just loved the description of God sending down fire around Walt in response to everything he's done.

the finale left a few too many plotlines open but it was a good, subtle ending.

nice setup for season 3, which is unfortunately a long time away.

Loved the crackhouse, this show is crazybeans.

Seriously when Jesse broke down in Walts arms I almost cried. Seriously WTF! is up with me. AFter seeing Walter on Fringe crying, White Sean from Rescue Me, and Sawyer on LOST these past couple weeks Im becoming a big ass *****

I was REALLY baked when I watched this. :o

When the bed was pumping I forgot Jane died. As soon as it cut and he was doing the whole freaking out CPR thing on like, a 12hour cold corpse maybe...uGh. This show is SICK. loL. damn.

Guy didn't actually say more than a few lines the whole episode and to be that powerful, SHAZzZZAm. Jesse should win an emmy. :o The dad was crazy too, I felt frikin horrible watching the whole episode. It's so ****ed yo the feeling of loss totally sank into my stomach. Bad tripPin. :(

Its just like real life son! Seriously though within a year 3 people I knew overdosed and died. 2 ex girlfriends and my sisters fiance in my old bedroom. The stuff is a ****ing tragedy anyone who has ever known anyone that has oded then they understand and this episode just pervayed an astounding sense of loss and how it was impacting each of them. Beautiful Beautiful storytelling.

werd uPPp
So raw and I kind of appreciate how they didn't really end with a super gigantic cliff hanger. :o

Watched the first five weeks but then had to rely on TiVo for the remainder of the season and finished watching it last nigh.

Wow.

Just looking back to the first two episodes of the series, back when Cranston had hair and would defend his son at a clothing store to entering a crack house to save Jesse.
Walt and Jesse are all alone now. Which means they'll be back to making meth.

Cranston has to have the Emmy, this was the dad from Malcolm in the Middle and he's slowly becoming a monster.
