Age of Extinction Bring Back The Twins?

An ongoing contentious issue is the pair of bumbling Autobots that frequently took centre stage in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Do we want them back?

Seriously, I do like them, but I don't really want them back. I would prefer if there was more focus on Ironhide, Ratchet, Sideswipe and Arcee in the next one and, hopefully they could bring in Prowl, Wheeljack and Hot Rod as well.

In my universe, Skids and Mudflap lacked the full intelligence of the other Transformers because they were slipt in two.

Once they combine (which was apparently the original concept), their minds would fuse and they would be equal to that of the other bots!!

I think that would be a really great explaination to their lack of intelligence...their minds were split making each less intelligent.

For the 3rd movie, I would like them combined!!

The version I watched is dubbed, and it made them even more interesting. I don't know about the original dub, though.

The government should downgrade them to 9-1-1 operators, so that cooler robots that are actually useful can get more screen time.

I dont live in America so i dont have much experience in the racism debate. I mean, i dont know what is considered racist or not there. Apparently they can call themselves by the N word but if you use it with your friends in a non offensive way like they do, they get offended. For a foreigner like me it seems to me that they are the racists when everybody else just moved on. In any case what i mean is that in this subject i dont have the experience of someone who lives in america and understands how it works. So i couldnt tell if the twins were offensive or not, i just saw them as two stupid robots and nothing more. But if black people consider the twins racist they ought to tone their characteristics down for the next film.

I suppose that due to continuity they will be back, the question is for how much screentime. I wouldnt mind seeing them again but i do hope i see less of them and more of Sideswipe, Ironhide, etc.

I actually liked the Twins, so yeah I want them back for the 3rd movie definately.

BUT, give them a LOT less focus, give us more Sideswipe, Ironhide and Ratchet, and throw in just 1 or 2 other Autobots also.

Bring in Sunstreaker, have a Twin Vs Twin battle, Sideswipe/Sunstreaker Vs. Skids/Mudflap, and obliterate the redneck/gangster/whatever twins.

I'd love to see them just sort of forgotten about, but the odds of that happening are unlikely.

So bring them back, but add a "Poochie" like character to the mix. Maybe a female Poochie.

I say bring them back, but kill at least one of them. They don't have to be spare parts, but kill one or both, and if one is left move him to the background so Sideswipe or some new TFs get some development, as well as our heroes from the first TF.

Introduce them at the beginning, but have them killed within the first 10 minutes to prove that the Decepticons are actually capable of doing something.

I dont mind them returning, as I didnt really find them annoying, but they shouldnt take the spotlight over well known G1 characters, so if they do return, I want them to take a back-seat.

haha, i was just going to write that. Just need to treat them like lucas treated jar jar in the 2nd and 3rd film...with like 1-2 lines, i just look at them as "fitting in with bumble bee" like if the autobots were in highschool they'd be in the same clique.

No Skids and Mudflap for TF3.

Leave that space for better Autobots like Ironhide and Sideswipe. I honestly wouldn't mind if they only introduce one new Autobot for the next one so they can give each Autobot a respectable amount of footage kicking butt.
