The Dark Knight Bruce and Rachel in TDK (Spoilers or Possible Spoilers)

I like the crusade idea better. I have to say I agree with Schumacher then. It's areally a wound that won't heal.

Hook a mind-reading device to bruce wayne and you'll get nothing but Bats flying around.

I love that mystical aspect to batman. As if he's becoming more inhuman the more he descends into the monster he has created after his parent's death.

The tragedy will come into play perhaps when Rachel recognizes bruce will NEVER be someone who could ever fully love and support her.

It's just a different way of looking at things, at his motives and driving force. Unusually insightful from Schumacher. 'Death and the Maidens' touched on this as well, that he can't really remember his parenst and is fighting for other reasons now. The mystical aspect can easily be incorporated by showing how Bruce does become more sucked into the Batman persona, and I do think that will be a major plot point in TDK. Escalation, etc.

I thought it was clear that Finch was more interested in Rachel than Rachel was in him.

I dont know to me it seemed like Finch and Rachel had a thing in the past..i wish i could find the youtube clip of the part where they are talking right after the hearing, to point out my point, but the underlined point to me is that at one point in time the two got together. and boom boom in the satin room, get my point?

Hope there's no love triangle. Hope Gilda Dent is in the flick. Hope Rachel gets killed. Hope Bruce ends up dating and falling heavily for a Persian chick with a hidden agenda .

Hard to say. No mention of Gilda yet, not that it's key or anything up to this point. But from the look of things, so far, I'd put money on the love triangle.

Now that we have reports that Dent and Rachel may have a relationship in TDK, what do people think about a love triangle between Bruce, Dent, and Rachel?

IMO, I dont think just because he had to give her up for the mission that it means hes over her, or that Rachel is over him. Hopefully, the chemistry between Christian and Maggie is better than what Christian had with Katie

First of all, Bruce didn't give up Rachel for his "mission"... He even said "Batman is just a symbol Rachel". It was Rachel that was understandable enough to let Bruce fully concentrate on his quest for saving Gotham, leaving no room for them to have a relationship. And when she said "The man I loved, the man who vanished, he never came back at all", it didn't mean that she doesn't love him right there and now; it simply means that she understands that saving Gotham is a top priority right now... She understands exactly what drove Bruce to such drastic measures, and is simply telling him that if Gotham is ever put back on track, if the city is ever cleaned up, than maybe they can engage a relationship... Thankfully, the character of Rachel Dawes is a strong woman, a smart woman, and she understands what must come first.

I STILL, after Begins have been out for two years, only have 2 minor complaints. 1: pan out the camera so we can see what is happening when the fighting is taking place! 2: That even though Katie Holmes played the part rather well, she just didn't fit in with the rest of the (AWESOME) cast! She's too much of a little (Joey) girl.

I'm so glad that the part of Rachel is beeing given to Maggie Gyllenhall!!! I never knew her before, but the first time I saw a picture of her on the set I thought, THAT'S IT!!! She looks like a real WOMAN! Now, the cast is 110% flawless!

The chemistry between Maggie and Bale in TDK I'm 100% sure will be better than what Katie and Bale had in Begins... Cause quite frankly, the chemistry wasn't all too good.

If they pull the Peter & Mary Jane scenario in TDK I'll scream!!! I know Nolan wont do that though... Bruce and Rachel may love each other deep down in TDK, and they MAY display that too!... Put I say, let Rachel have some sort of relationship with Dent in TDK, and dont let her have it to make Bruce jealous or some crap like that! Again, DONT do what they did with spiderman, this is different! Let her have a boyfriend in Dent, and dont have Bruce brake totally down because of it (we dont need that tacky BS in TDK)! Have him be happy for Rachel! Let them be the best of friends in TDK! Let their relationship be a great one! Than, if they must, have them fall completely for each other in the third installment (but NOT in TDK, please!)
