Do you think Maggie is going to play a better Rachel than Katie did or do you think Katie is gonna do a better job? I personally think Katie was a great Rachel and she was perfect for the part. Maggie on the other hand, im not sure. The only problem I have with her is shes not that good looking

I actually thought Katie looked far younger, and didn't buy her as an ADA for a second. She did well enough with what she had, but the role was pretty functional and slim. Maggie's a superior actress, so with the right script she should do a lot better.

I didn't particularly care for Holmes' portrayal. It wasn't terrible, but rather extremely average. I imagine that Gyllenhall, being a superior actress IMO, will give a better performance.

Yep, I feel the same. Holmes was not as bad as people say, but she was not any better than average either. I think maggie will give the better performance.

As far as I'm concerned, Rachel is a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne and an idealistic ADA. Doesn't really call for a drop-dead gorgeous woman.
