NEW FRONTIER!!!!
Stan Berkowitz was interviewed at WF and he told that while he's doing an epsiode for The Batman and oen for Legion opf Super-Heroes, he revealed what Bruce Timm is working on as xecutive Producer.
Its New Froniter. Based on the book by the same name.
Q: What projects are you currently working on?
A: In 2004 and 2005, I was the story editor of an English animated series called "Friends and Heroes." It's due for release in 2007, and, though it's not a super-hero series, you'll see some familiar names among the writing credits: Alan Burnett, Dwayne McDuffie, Robert Goodman and others. You might also be interested in the way the series integrates 2D and 3D animation. Earlier this year, I worked on an episode of "The Batman" dealing with The Riddler's backstory, and an episode of "Legion Superheroes" about the conflict between profit and altruism. I had a great time working on both of them, and look forward to seeing the finished versions in September of this year. At the moment, I'm writing a direct-to-video animated adaptation of Darwyn Cooke's "New Frontier" epic. It will be feature length, rated PG-13 and Bruce [Timm] will be Executive Producer. So far, it's been nothing but fun... a chance for me to revisit my youth and the Starro era.
