Its kind of funny, If Bale didn't do Batman Begins, he would be doing **** like the machanist 2, or a prequel to Harsh Times LOL. Its his fault that his career was cult movies, he should of been out their pitching scripts, and trying out for big roles.As an actor, he needs to divide his time between movies for passion, and movies for money and fun. He has 2 mouths to feed, and hes starring in low budget crap like the machanist LoL.

I don't think it's really up to us to tell him what he should be starring in (or how to provide for his family). Have you seen The Machinist? It's low budget, but it's far from crap. I admire his integrity that means he only appears in films that mean something to him, and I'm glad BB and TDK are finally giving him a big pay day.

I admire things like that to, but I also admire useing big movies, to get smaller more personal movies made. Alot of superior actors, have done big movies, and small movies, it took Bale till Batman Begins to realize that.

Fair enough. But was he offered any big movies that he turned down? I also don't think there are many superior actors around. He's been one of my faves ever since American Psycho.

I can name many superior actors IMO, but if you think hes the best, then thats your opinion. Also is cats like lindsay Lohan, can earn 7 million a picture, why was superior talent Like Bale siting at home for a year?

As highly as Keaton speaks of playing Batman and it just being about playing the character, I liked that he wasn't afraid to say, "you know what? I got PAID!" He seems to live rather modestly for a celebrity, so he's probably still livin' off Batman money. He works when he feels like it, not because he needs to.

It's good to see Bale doing so good now, if he was struggling like that and that his Agents still had faith he would someday succeed.

I dont understand why some people find an actor wanting money a bad thing. Not all of them have flippen mansions. A lot of times the paycheck pays for the house and the car. Also acting is a job. If bale just wanted to act he would star in theater most likely. You can like your job and still like to get paid.
