I love Bale as Batman, but I am worried about the jawline and the mouth looking too slim... I have to wait until I see him in the mask. Even George Clooney looked like a bird in the mask! I even hated the picture of Bale as Batman on Batman-on-film.com. So far, I have disliked all the manipulations of Bale as Batman. I am worried...

How about this one:

IMO, this is the best manip we've seen yet of Bale as Batman. Even if the costume is not the one that'll be in the film, you can still look at the cowl and get a very clear idea of what he'll look like. You gotta admit, Bale does look a lot like Batman in that manip.

i always thought that Jason Patrick could pull off Batman. slightly old now, but after sleepers/ speed 2. he has classical high society handsomeness(steady) and a strong screen presense with moody demeanor perfect detective. any feed back???

Jason Patric shouldn't be given this part, seeing as Bale already has it. Cillian Murphy the Dr. Crane (Scarecrow) is a good choice.... I always liked Caine as Alfred. I just hope this movie is better than the crap ones we've seen lately, since a little after the 80's ended, actually.....

Well......it is. It could be easy to recognize Bruce's face underneath the mask with the design Ross uses, which is alot like that one in the manip.

Bale is Batman. And as much as I'd love to see good Batman spandex on film, it won't happen sadly.

Christian Bale would be a great Batman I think. I saw somewhere else someone mention Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) for the Joker. I think that would be an excellent idea. If you ever watched the Batman animated show, Hamill was the voice of the Joker, and to me, his was better than Jack's. Jack was Jack being the Joker, Hamill was just the Joker.

More then anything, I just hope they don't screw up Batman anymore than they already have. Bale would be a good start towards that. Actually, burning Joel Schumacher at the stake would be a better start.

Nicholson looked nothing like the Joker. I'm tired of the pissy excuse, "this guy should be cast as Joker because he looks like him". What exactly defines the medium of the Joker. Actually, not even the Joker looks like the Joker. Joker from the 40s looks nothing like he does now. I still stand to my defense that just about anyone can look like the Joker.

Hamill is the voice of the Joker, he should never show up in the movies. He is the Animated Series. He shouldn't be casted in the movies by any means imo. Same for Kevin Conroy, He's the Animated Series and should not cross over.

I'm not talking over a matter of "if Hamill could do it or not", it's a matter of me NEVER wanting Hamill in a Batman movie.
