It does in the book.

Good guess on my part then :woot:.

[Well said sir. Not everything has to be excellent like The Dark Knight, Terminator 2 or Lord of the Rings, sometimes I just want to sit down and watch Bruce Willis fighting robots and making bad one liners.

That said, he looks to be giving a great performance in the trailer.

Exactly, if the movie entertains me, i'll like it, doesnt have to TDK or whatever.

Just going by the trailer, it's tempting to say this will be a good film but the reality alot of times is very different. I sincerely hope it's over 2 hours. I don't want 90 minutes of explosions and crappy characters.

Zanos -- The film tops off at 104 minutes, so just a couple minutes shy of 2 hours. I think that will be plenty of time for plot, depth, and action! :)

^^^^ Actually that is 16 minutes shy of two hours. However I think 1 hour 45 should be enough, it's when they are only 90 minutes that I worry about balance.

104 minutes...so we'll hear the word "surrogate" roughly 50 times.

Excellent.

That running time is enough for most films to be competent but not enough to be anything more than your average popcorn flick. There are exceptions but most good films tend to be longer for good reason.

That's what I said Hunter Rider. I actually think that is a perfect time for a film. I saw a movie this past weekend and it was good, but it definitely could have been a good 30 minutes shorter.

Those posters are awesome! I love the idea of Surrogates, so the posters fit in perfectly!

If anyone wants to hear an interview with Robert Venditti (Writer of the Graphic Novel) about the movie and book check out the site in my sig, one of the people on my podcast got an interview with him.

This guy is probably freaking out at his luck. Movies are typically not adapted from little known comic books that no one has ever heard of. I wonder if he gets residues or a percentage of the film, etc.

Saw the trailer with 'District 9'...looks fairly promising, both as a CB movie and a Science Fiction thriller. Here's hoping it delivers.

Every time I watch the trailer in the theater I definitely get excited for it. I wanted to share some more features that were recently released for the film. They are really awesome! The movie is coming out just around the corner now! Pretty great!

This looks kind of bland. The cinematogrpahy looks like T3 2009.

well...it is from the director of t3...so I assume it would look similar. It's funny too cause all the ads look like the ads from the Terminator TV series from a while back.

The movie probably will be mediocre at best.

I like Jonathan Mostow's previous films. I am definitely a fan and enjoy what he brings to the theater. For me personally I love Willis, he is probably one of my favorite actors so that is my major driving factor in this movie.

I like the majority of Mostow's movies, even T3, I wish he would have done T4 instead of McG to be honest, the only one of his I didnt like was U-571 because the movie was a total lie, but not necessarily a bad movie, I look forward to this also.

Love those images! Thanks for the share. I don't even know what to expect, but I just know I can't wait!
