There are 13* characters/cast members, and for a film like this, that's hardly crowded.

So far, we have 8 confirmed characters and 12 confirmed cast members. The cast is still pretty small especially for a big movie like this.. Then if you add Halle Berry, January Jones, Caleb Landry Jones and Lucas Till then it will be 16 - just the same as the cast members of X3 who got promotional pictures.

How is that news? When Singer agreed to take helm of DoFP from Matthew Vaughn, it was guaranteed Ottman would come along to score and co-edit the film. They have a Burton/Elfman and Spielberg/Williams kind of collaboration.

The only time Ottman didn't score Singer's film was the first X-Men, and that was because Ottman was busy wearing three hats for Urban Legends: Final Cut (director/editor/composer).

Well sometimes things change and we just can't assume things w/o an official announcement or confirmation.
