Personally, I'm sick of Halle with that haircut. She needs a new do.
As for Storm's hair, I don't mind it. I'm not clamoring for the mohawk though, and it's not the worst hair she's had as Storm, but again, I'm over that hairstyle on Halle; it just seems like they kept that style to cater to her or something.

I mean...Famke exuded sexiness in the tent in X2. Same for Rebecca Romijn in all three.
You know the costume and hair and make up departments are separate departments, right?
Honestly, I was hoping for the bald/shaved mutant concentration camp look for the dystopean future.Exactly. That is some lazy-ass styling decisions. Totally uninspired. Wouldn't you take greater pride in the challenge of actually transforming a gorgeous actress like Halle Berry into something less recognizable?
Even I didn't expect a strand-for-strand copy-cat of the actress' existing hairstyle! I thought she'd at least get some sort of new spin.

Famke never looked "sexy" to me. Those leather costumes made her look gumpy. She was sexy in X3 (overkill) and to an extent the other films because she had Logan to fuel it off of.
Rebecca was nude and covered in blue paint. Go figure.
Halle arguably has the most beautiful body of all 3 women and yet it was covered up completely. It's almost like they were trying to de-sexualize her in the trilogy.
Whatever.![]()
She was less so in Avengers, thanks to Whedon completely rebooting her character.Johanssan wasn't an over-sexualized prop in IM2 or Avengers.![]()
It's the same as people wanting the mohawk for Storm; personal preference.I don't get obsession by some with wanting characters in future to be bald which was never even part of DOFP comic or it's animated adaptians.

It's fine...I've accepted it. I'm not even frustrated even more about Storm in these movies...I've just accepted what these circumstances are in terms of her look, etc. It's just whatever. It's blah...it's boring. I'm sure it'll look decent on film; I always tell myself that.
But Storm is never going to be AMAZING on the silver screen. And although that's hard for me to accept, I'm getting there.

She was vapid t&a in IM2.
Seriously. And we have no way of knowing if Anna was even filming while she was there, or if she was just there for costume fittings, etc. There is this modern invention called "planes" that let you fly back and forth from LA and Montreal pretty easily. It was always clear that Anna had to juggle DOFP with True Blood. Its insane to freak out after one week of filming on a 5 month movie that she won't have much screen time. If she doesn't ever go back, sure, freak out, but until then its silly.
Also, True Blood has like...30 characters and plot lines in it. Its completely doable to move Anna's scenes and filming requirements around to free her up for jetting off to Montreal every so often.

You face-palming and acting like you're so sure is just as aggravating as those who jumped to the conclusion that she wrapped.

Which is what bothers me... Why have so many actors to an already "crowded" timeline? We have all the OT cast, isn't that enough? Then again, we have no idea what the actual story is, but still... It sounds like this will be more X4 than FC2.
I think a group of surviving future mutants will travel to the past. No way will they miss the opportunity for that. Plus, that is probably why the 70s cast list is so light - because it will be boosted by arrivals from the future. Just speculation on my part, but I think they will boost the roster for the 70s scenes by including a lot of future characters on a desperate mission to stop the critical event ever happening.
