Famke exuded sexiness in the tent in X2. Same for Rebecca Romijn in all three.

Personally, I'm sick of Halle with that haircut. She needs a new do.

As for Storm's hair, I don't mind it. I'm not clamoring for the mohawk though, and it's not the worst hair she's had as Storm, but again, I'm over that hairstyle on Halle; it just seems like they kept that style to cater to her or something.

Exactly. That is some lazy-ass styling decisions. Totally uninspired. Wouldn't you take greater pride in the challenge of actually transforming a gorgeous actress like Halle Berry into something less recognizable?

Even I didn't expect a strand-for-strand copy-cat of the actress' existing hairstyle! I thought she'd at least get some sort of new spin.

Louise is lazy. :o

You know the costume and hair and make up departments are separate departments, right?

As far as I understood, they work in conjunction together, no? I thought Louise oversaw all of it, because obviously it's all one costume and wigs would be part of that concept.

Either way, there is some laziness going on with it. I like the uniform though; it's bland and "safe" but not offensive at all. And it covered the baby bump amazingly.:up:

Honestly, I was hoping for the bald/shaved mutant concentration camp look for the dystopean future.

Also, while hair, make up, and costume are all different departments, they're all under visual and they all have to report to the same person. True if the hair needs help they're not gonna go to the make up dept, but they all work together to create a look.

Famke never looked "sexy" to me. Those leather costumes made her look gumpy. She was sexy in X3 (overkill) and to an extent the other films because she had Logan to fuel it off of.

Rebecca was nude and covered in blue paint. Go figure.

Halle arguably has the most beautiful body of all 3 women and yet it was covered up completely. It's almost like they were trying to de-sexualize her in the trilogy.

Whatever. :whatever:

::doesn't find Berry's body to be amazing::

:o

At least no more than every other actress with the same body.

Or perhaps Bryan wanted his women to be more than over-sexualized props? See: Scarlet Johanssen in IM2 and Avengers.

And Berry looks beautiful in X2.

It's fine...I've accepted it. I'm not even frustrated even more about Storm in these movies...I've just accepted what these circumstances are in terms of her look, etc. It's just whatever. It's blah...it's boring. I'm sure it'll look decent on film; I always tell myself that.

But Storm is never going to be AMAZING on the silver screen. And although that's hard for me to accept, I'm getting there.

Johanssan wasn't an over-sexualized prop in IM2 or Avengers.

She was less so in Avengers, thanks to Whedon completely rebooting her character.

She was vapid t&a in IM2.

Scarlett Johansson has clearly been the sexpot In the Ms films.Joss whedon did good with her character In the Avengers.

The X-men films have always had some sexy women In them.

I don't get obsession by some with wanting characters in future to be bald which was never even part of DOFP comic or it's animated adaptians.

It's the same as people wanting the mohawk for Storm; personal preference.

In Bishop's future, everyone at the camps were shaved and were given the M tattoo on the eye. And it was reused in current Marvel-verse in the Mutant Messiah event. I find it would work and be more visually appealing and fitting.

Well I am antimohawk.I didn't like It In comics.

and Bishop might not even be bald himself.I would hate the bald look on the entire future cast

Seems we've been getting a new tweet every 2 days. See y'all on Friday. :o

I preferred Bryan's more tasteful approach to the sexiness of the X-women with a sexpot Mystique for eye candy.

As far mohawk Storm, it's just too late. I don't think it would look age appropriate on Halle Berry now if they are going for an older looking Storm. Plus, it doesn't fit the "Movie Storm" character AT ALL. They'd have to give her a entirely new, non-meek personality to go with a mohawk.

wait another 10-15 yrs and there will be a reboot. I bet there will be a powerful, badass Storm in that. Betchya!

Apart from Mystique basiclly being nude the sexiest scenes In X-Men films for straight guys
was the tent scene In X2 before mystique turned Into Stryker. All major X babes besides deathstrike In X2 on top of wolverine.I of course In first class liked Mystique In magneto's bed scene but Vaughn was more In your face with sexiness.

For a gay man Bryan knew how to have sexyness In films but did It tasteful.Plus the women In Black leather was nice too.Halle looked better In Black leather as storm than as catwoman.

I liked the tent scene when Jean enters it and right before she transforms back into Mystique...*sighs* I also like Rebecca more than I did Halle. But if I had to choose between Famke and Rebecca, well that's easy, Famke. duh. lol.

I'm okay with Storm's hairstyle in DOFP since the future might look apocalyptic and chaotic. But I hope they give her a longer hair in the next movie.

Seriously. And we have no way of knowing if Anna was even filming while she was there, or if she was just there for costume fittings, etc. There is this modern invention called "planes" that let you fly back and forth from LA and Montreal pretty easily. It was always clear that Anna had to juggle DOFP with True Blood. Its insane to freak out after one week of filming on a 5 month movie that she won't have much screen time. If she doesn't ever go back, sure, freak out, but until then its silly.

Also, True Blood has like...30 characters and plot lines in it. Its completely doable to move Anna's scenes and filming requirements around to free her up for jetting off to Montreal every so often.

Tell us about this modern invention called the plane Mr. Man. :yay:

You face-palming and acting like you're so sure is just as aggravating as those who jumped to the conclusion that she wrapped.

I'm simply saying that people shouldn't jump to conclusions simply because Anna left after a week of filming. And here's the face palm once again, in your honor.

Which is what bothers me... Why have so many actors to an already "crowded" timeline? We have all the OT cast, isn't that enough? Then again, we have no idea what the actual story is, but still... It sounds like this will be more X4 than FC2.

If the future timeline has war or some kind of organised resistance, I suppose it makes sense for there to be a large group of mutants that also doesn't just consist of the characters we already know.

If the majority of the film takes place in the 70s, and if the whole lot of them doesn't travel to the 70s, then perhaps most of them will be used in group fighting scenes or something along these lines. I don't expect everyone to have their own storyline unless they want this movie to play like a Game of Thrones episode.

I think a group of surviving future mutants will travel to the past. No way will they miss the opportunity for that. Plus, that is probably why the 70s cast list is so light - because it will be boosted by arrivals from the future. Just speculation on my part, but I think they will boost the roster for the 70s scenes by including a lot of future characters on a desperate mission to stop the critical event ever happening.

I think that's very likely. Probably a good idea as well, rather than having two separate big teams in the future and the past. Though I'm still not sure how that will tie with Singer taking care to separate "time displacement" from "time travel". I'm pretty sure also that the school will not be open and if Charles is in "dark place" that would also explain the lack of X-team. Not sure what would explain Magneto only having Mystique to hang around, but then we've heard absolutely nothing about young Magneto yet.

Just seen Singers latest movie, Jack The Giant Slayer, and as a big Singer fan, was a little dissapointed, it was pretty average for the most part, yet the battle in the 3rd act made it a bit better. It wasnt bad at all, but I hope for DOFP Singer is on Usual Suspects/X2 form.
