I'm simply saying that people shouldn't jump to conclusions simply because Anna left after a week of filming. And here's the face palm once again, in your honor.
You're right, I overreacted. My apologies. But I do hate it when people say "you people". :/

I preferred Bryan's more tasteful approach to the sexiness of the X-women with a sexpot Mystique for eye candy.
I don't think LS is suggesting that he wants everyone to be overly sexualized. He and I strongly share the opinion that the women in X1 and X2 were styled in ways that actually took extraordinary women and made them look completely bland. This was especially true with X2. Famke and Halle were soccer moms in X2.

Jean I can understand looking like a soccer mom. She is the mom of the X-men, basically.

Just seen Singers latest movie, Jack The Giant Slayer, and as a big Singer fan, was a little dissapointed, it was pretty average for the most part, yet the battle in the 3rd act made it a bit better. It wasnt bad at all, but I hope for DOFP Singer is on Usual Suspects/X2 form.

We can only hope.

But this isn't Bryan's first rodeo when it comes to directing a X-Men movie so maybe he'll get his groove back!

I think the problem with many female characters in movies is not that they're sexualised, but that they have precious little to do and don't get much decent character development. Making them bland and sexless is hardly an improvement.

I have faith, Singer is a great director and as I said I am a fan, JTGS is his worst movie and yet its still decent, not many directors can say that. I loved US, X1, X2 and even SR, and I still love all of them, and Valkyrie was very good, so I still have faith Singer will give us a great movie.

I liked his work on the failed Mockingbird line pilot. It was a reimaging that showed some respect for original.A shame It won't go to series both he and Bryan fuller did great job.

Also remember Bryan directed the pilot that convinced Fox to pickup House.Which became one of their top rated drama series.SOme people forget that Hugh Laurie was Bryan's original choice to play Perry White In Superman Returns

Due to bad weather here In midwest when It opened I wasn't able to see Jack the giant slayer but I still Intend to once It hits DVD.

You don't think in this age, where everyone has an opinion, people aren't already doing that?

Everyone has always had an opinion, with the Tweets at least the comments are going directly to Singer's feed. I'm sure people did, has anyone done it here?

But why the mohawk? She never had it in the DoFP comic. She had it in the 80s comics following specific events. Why would an older Storm in the future suddenly get a mohawk?

Seriously, what is this mohawk obsession on the forums?

I know well I'm not particularly obsessed with the mohawk, but i've seen it almost immediately being suggested. I think it's only because it'd be a more dramatic outlook than anything else, and yes, give it a very retro-80s vibe. I think people are suggesting that just for the heck of it, not for any reason in particular other than "we haven't seen mohawk Storm on film" despite the fact that... well... we haven't seen mohawk Storm in the comics all that much either. If it were up to me, if the mohawk had to happen, I'd give it to young Storm from the 80s in some FC iteration.

Right, because he tweets stuff out for feedback and suggestions. :whatever:

He seems more open to suggestion than most other directors, so who knows? Let's not start rolling eye-balls just yet.

I hope when FOX releases another DVD/Blu-ray collection of the X-Men films, now with The Wolverine. They will include a sneak peak/backstage look for DOFP, with an intro of Bryan Singer at the set of DOFP.

...I don't know if I agree or if I am offended.

then you read it, not heard it.

your comment seemed like you had new info about it, from someone close to you or something.

Read it and heard it are kinda similar especially when its from the internet. People always say "I heard it from the internet" but no they just read it.

And there were reports of Singer scouting in D.C. and people were saying that the assassination of a character might take place there. But there's no official confirmation that the climax of the film will take place in DC or if DC will be in the movie.

In tweet photo of Production designer a photo of white house is on board. That and
Bryan Singer scouting In DC hints part of 1973 will be set there.

The battle in comic storyline also takes place there.Of course then It was at the senate and here most likely It will be at white house.
