Daredevil Bullseye casting and discussion thread

I don't think any of the Daredevil cast is a "household name". Maybe Vincent because anyone who works from home/doesn't work has probably seen Law and Order: CI on the USA network. The rest are not known all too well.

True. To the average viewer, the cast is pretty much relegated to "Oh, I think that guy was in Boardwalk Empire" or "That's the vampire girl from True Blood" or "Wasn't that guy one of the kids in The Mighty Ducks?" Bernthal is probably the most recognizable new addition, but even then, to regular viewers it's just "Shane from The Walking Dead is The Punisher".

WAY too big a name, but McConaughey would be my dream casting for Bullseye. Go back to his Reign of Fire look and you're golden.

More realistically, I'd go with Joe Anderson. He proved he can be nicely psychotic on Hannibal.

McConaughey definitely has that psycho smile to him.

I'm still hung up on the Stath as Bullseye though. That would be a dream. Too bad he kinda disses superhero stuff. Alas, it's probably not meant to be.

Love the Joe Anderson suggestion Eddie Dean. You got me on board.

I still like Jeremy Piven.

I want him to crack me up and at the same time piss me off. I want to hate to hate him and hate to love him.

I was all for that Jason Statham rumor, but it seems he doesn't care much for superhero stuff. Ah well.

Top three after giving it some more consideration:

1. Jeremy Piven
2. Steven Ogg
3. Giovanni Ribisi (might be a sorta unique portrayal)

Interesting choice. I think a comedic actor would be great as Bullseye, because they can really bring out the crazy. Bill Hader just popped into my head.

Still on the Ryan Eggold train for Bullseye

Rosario Dawson. Scott Glenn gets close. He's been around for a long time. Thinking of the projects as a whole (that is, Jessica Jones also being involved) Rebecca DeMornay definitely and maybe Carrie Anne Moss

Give me Walton Goggins' Hillbilly Bullsye, and I'll die happy. :)

So I finally finished the season last night, and now I'm getting caught up on this forum. Was I the only one who expected/hoped that Bullseye was going to be revealed as the one [BLACKOUT]framing Castle for all the shootings[/BLACKOUT] in the last few episodes?

That was initially what I was thinking too. Woulda been cool, but he likely wouldn't have been developed well given everything else going on.

I agree, I was just thinking they'd introduce him now for future development. No biggie, though, I guess we'll just have to be patient. We'll get him when we get him.

For some odd reason, I really thought it was Kingpin.

I don't think it's Bullseye's style (like with Punisher, it's too much overkill).

Yeah, that's what I thought too. It was an initial reaction of "oh ****, are they really going there?" But then on actually thinking about it, it wasn't right.

Yes, they are the more well known names on the Netflix series. I feel like having Jason Statham, while a great actor and so attractive... I feel like he'd be too "big" for the role. Though if he did get the role, I wouldn't be mad.
