yup he doesn't want to admit that he was wrong

how can someone give supposedly a great performance and steal the show but have been the wrong choice

This is exactly my point!

They were posted earlier. But somebody probably haven't seen them yet. I'm kinda worried about tweets like - Wonder Woman's entrance was hands down the best part of the movie. LMAO. So much for Batman v Superman conflict.

Batman v Superman: Wonder Woman Wins

I'm not talking about the past, I'm talking about this podcast. I do think that being concerned about one's acting skills is ligitimate, but he went on and created an entire thesis that doesn't hold up to any serious analysis. Again, there is no sense in saying "it's a bad choice that works." This is why I say he should have kept it simple.
Probably poor choice of words. We had Arnold as Terminator and Conan. He's a horrible actor, he isn't an actor at all, he just learned how to do Clint Eastwood face and it did miracles to those roles. I sense the same about Gal Gadot.

I'm hoping it's just the excitement from seeing her on screen for te first time.

If someone is great in a role then they are great in a role. They are a great choice for the role that they ended up being great in. This debate is ridiculous.

Figured it was posted alresdy but, you know, at least it's about Twitter reactions. The comments are hilarious too

OK. I'm not gonna defend Campea with my life. I heard FAR worse opinions on Gal casting than his.

I mean, there's nothing unusual about that. Every movie like this has some cool, big, exciting, and sometimes purely visual/superficial or comedic moments that stick with fans and fill them with joy during the film and afterwards.

To use 'The Avengers' as an example, Hulk's rag-doll beat down of Loki is often cited as one of the film's best and most memorable moments that garnered huge reactions from audiences in the theater. But when someone says this is the best part of the movie or their favorite, they aren't negating the other great moments and/or conflicts of the film, nor are they indicating that all the other moments are less exciting.

 Makes sense.

One moderator does not equal all the moderators. He is allowed to give his opinion just as you are.

Yeah but he could have gone back a couple pages and seen what that opinion brings about. Plus he chose to come into a thread about tweets and early reactions just so he could post about how much he hates them. If he hates them so much, he could choose to avoid them by not reading them in here ;)

note: not ripping said Mod just saying :)

by campea's reasoning megan fox would of been better casting you know since she has been acting since she was 15

He spent more than 30min defending his pov. That is anything but poor choice of words.

Can we please drop this whole Campea thing for the love of God. Why do you guys care so much about him. It is just as bad as the other guy that gets mentioned regularly.

Lmao!!! It doesn't add up!? That dude... Smh

Has this become the "boohoo let's cry because Campea isn't a fan Gadot" thread? Get over it guys. Campea wanted a more experienced actress. I personally can't think of an experienced actress I actually want for the role but I'm not going to call the man a hack because we disagree on something. Especially since he's been known to admit when he's wrong.
Some people in these forums are to quick to attack people like John Campea or any other online critic when they disagree with you.
Wah wah, Grace doesn't like Amy Adams as Lois Lane. Wah wah, John doesn't like Gadot. Wah wah, Angry Joe still wishes this were MoS2. That's what it sounds like. Especially when talking about people who are looking forward to the film and hope it's good.

+1

I don't even know who he is yet can't avoid people complaining about him.

It's nice that Campea is hearing good to great things about the movie.

Though I'd suggest to anyone listening to the podcast you should skip the WW talk afterwards if you'd rather not hear 10-15 minutes of rhetorical gymnastics about how even if WW is great (which he's heard she is) it was still a bad decision to cast her.

Wow, he's never going to let it up, is he? Gal is great, but apparently still doesn't matter.

Have you actually followed the discussion? People are discussing the content of his argument and breaking down why it does or doesn't make sense. I really hate posts like the above that just immediately jump to condescension just because folks happen to be discussing and oft mentioned critic/scooper/blogger/etc. This thread is for discussing early impressions and that's what's happening.

Lots to process and think about, but overall BvS is an excellent movie #BVSPremiere

I am! It...it was an incredible movie. Totally lived up to my expectations, and still had lots of surprises

Also, many aspects are not what people are expecting. The trailers were cleverly deceptive. #BatmanvsSuperman

That last tweet is exactly what I wanted to hear. Makes me even more hyped. Can't contain the hype. Ghaaa

Is that the mod who is a skeptic?

Not that I'm not excited about these early tweets, but who are the people? I checked a few twitters and they look kinda random. And that's fine, I mean, I'm random as hell. It'd be nice to see some stuff from a few professionals though.
