Only times Dracula in the Marvel universe really worked for me was in the '90s horror stuff (Darkhold Redeemers, Ghost Rider, et al.), Mutant X, and Captain Britain and MI-13. Every other time he shows up, it just feels weird to me.
I don't know, really. Seems like a series I'd enjoy, but there aren't many trades and I guess my cousin--whom I got most of my comics from early on--wasn't a fan because I didn't get any Defenders issues from him.
Hmm. Shadowland looks interesting...I wonder if it'll be understandable for someone who hasn't been reading Daredevil.
This has me a little worried. I wanna see DD tested and pushed to his very limits, but i dont want to see him turn into the Punisher, and that comment makes it sound like DD is finally going to commit murder. But hey we'll see, i do have faith in Diggle. The very last page of Shadowland #1 will get people talking. It's something that's been building up for a long time. Years, in fact. It's a character-defining moment, and something that Matt Murdock will have to carry with him forever.
Hey, if you don't like it you can always blame Bendis. He was the one who set it up years ago.Shadowland sounds very exciting. But i cant help but be a little worried for a couple of reasons:
1) Part of the charm of the DD books was always that DD always stayed out of the superhero crossovers. His title was always in its own bubble and was self-contained. Now that they're doing a big crossover event centering on DD with mini's and tie-ins and what-not, i'm worried that this may be a little out of DD's element.
2) I'm worried that Diggle is going to push DD a little too far. Don't get me wrong, i love the fact that DD has been constantly pushed to his limits, but Diggle's comments on the event make it sound like this is literally going to change the way we see DD forever. Diggle said:

You jest, but I did actually enjoy the Little Lulu cartoon back in the day.He probably didn't want your greasy hands all of the good stuff. No wonder why you're a fan of Little Lulu![]()
