Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, developed by Sledgehammer Games (co-developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), harnesses the first three-year, all next-gen development cycle in franchise history.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare envisions the powerful battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactics have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise. Delivering a stunning performance, Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey stars as Jonathan Irons – one of the most powerful men in the world – shaping this chilling vision of the future of war.

Power Changes Everything.

An Advanced World:

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today’s military practices have converged with powerful consequences.
In this carefully researched and crafted vision of the future, Private Military Corporations (PMCs) have become the dominant armed forces for countless nations outsourcing their military needs, redrawing borders and rewriting the rules of war.
And Jonathan Irons, the founder and president of the world’s largest PMC - Atlas Corporation - is at the center of it all.

An Advanced Soldier:
Powerful exoskeletons evolve every aspect of a soldier’s battle readiness, enabling combatants to deploy with an advanced lethality and eliminating the need for specialization.
The introduction of this gameplay mechanic delivers enhanced player movement and verticality through boost jumps and grappling, covert cloaking abilities, and biomechanics that provide unparalleled strength, awareness, endurance, and speed.
With the advent of the exoskeleton and newly advanced armor and weaponry, every soldier commands tactical freedom in any terrain unlike ever before, fundamentally changing the way gamers play Call of Duty across all modes.

An Advanced Arsenal:
Harnessing the power of next-gen platforms, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare brings players into the battlegrounds of the future by boasting a new hi-tech, advanced arsenal and ability set, arming players with all-new equipment, technology, perks, and vehicles like hoverbikes and highly specialized drones.
Players can also choose between standard ammunition and an all-new class of directed-energy weaponry that enables totally new gameplay dynamics.
And with exoskeletons delivering a massive force multiplier and unprecedented tactical freedom, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare evolves every firefight.

Been following all the leaks and info tonight was just about to make a thread haha. Now THIS is a COD I'm very excited for. Ghosts I enjoyed the campaign but I stopped playing the multiplayer haven't touched the game in forever.

This game is what I wanted visually, def can see the power of the next gen and what can be done when the game is specifically made with next gen. Not just ported over. Kevin Spacey? Hell ****ing yes. Love the advanced warfare aspect. Very excited for this.

C'mon guys, isn't Call of Duty kind of jumping the shark with mecha and hover bikes and stuff?

Gotta compete with Titanfall

Everything was captured on Xbox One which means the PS4 is going to be either the same or better, definitely won't be inferior any longer which is awesome.

And I will go on a limp here and say it takes place years after Modern Warfare 3.

I am in with this game as long as it does not have the upgrade / money system from Ghosts

I have being studying the trailer and from it there is a big possibility that the game is co-op.

The game looks pretty cool, but I'm tired of the futuristic stuff. Call of Duty already has fun gameplay, we don't need super jumping or anything like that. Hope it doesn't change the tight gameplay too much. If I wanted Halo, I'd play halo

That's good because this game looks nothing like Halo. At all.

Just hoping the power suits don't change the mobility too much. I don't think it looks like halo, I was just overreacting. :p It'll probably be fine. The formula is never changed TOO much

So is Kevin Spacey actually his House Of Cards character ?

Ugh, why is this on the 360 and PS3? I really hope its in name only with a different developer handling it from the next gen consoles although I doubt it.

This isnt necesarily directed at you but a general statement at some of the comments Im reading across the net. Its ironic how people complain how CoD is the same every year with little change and when they switch it up, you get complaints about them changing too much. I welcome it bc CoD had gotten stale

Wow, this looks awesome. Sort of reminiscent of ghost recon, but better. I'm legitimately excited about this game.

We'll see. As long as the game isn't campy like Ghosts, I'll pick it up.

I'm almost at the point where I lose interest once I see cross-gen.

So, I wonder if that means the PS3/360/Wii U(?) version will be ported over by another team?
