Call of Duty: World at War

That is not what I meant. Gameplay wise & like even the freaking Game Menu's etc this game is like Call Of Duty 4 in every way. The only thing different about it are the dogs & the time it takes place in. I do not see myself buying an expansion (which this is) at full price. At least not with my own personal money. I would definitely wait until I got this game as some sort of gift or when it gets to 30 bucks. It is definitely not worth it for the full price. If you have played Call Of Duty 4 then you have practically already played World At War

Extremely myopic, especially when you haven't even played the full game, I just know from experience you're wrong.

My brother was playing this on his xbox360 with his school buddys on the headset, the graphics on it really aren't that great from what I seen.

How am I wrong when its my opinion ? I can say your wrong because I disagree with you it works both ways

You base your 'opinion' that CoD:WaW is just a CoD4 'expansion' on a multiplayer beta with only 1/5th the available content of one aspect of the full game, multiplayer, completely denying the major portion of the actual game, singleplayer and 4-person cooperative play.

That is a flawed opinion. My opinion that the game is NOT an expansion of Cod4 is based on me actually experiencing all the game has to offer, that is a valid 'opinion'.

Oh well I am not looking for your approval & don't want or need it. That is my opinion based on the beta. It sure does not effect me in any way if you do not like my opinion

I decried the veracity of your opinion, nothing else, has nothing to do with liking or disliking it.

You, of course, are free to make opinions on things when you do not have enough information usually needed to do so, just expect people to call you out on it.

You guys can call me out on my opinions all you want. It wont change anything & in the end prove to be a waste of time

So I checked my gmail acccount today (don't use it much) and to my surprise I have an e-mail for a COD:WaW beta key. All I did was make an account with the official CoD site a month back when I got CoD4. Too bad my 2nd Xbox died... I just sent it a few days ago too :(

Still have that extra key since Edmund couldn't use it, pm me.

Well, I checked my email and apparantly I was invited to play a couple days ago. I downloaded it and started playing today and I'm really digging it.

Yes it is basically a reskinned Modern Warfare, but I have to ask...Is that really such a bad thing?

My only real beef with the game so far is that the bolt action rifles are terrible. In Call of Duty 2 I could drop someone with a single shot from across the level but now they seem so...weak. :(

^ yea I wasn't looking forward to it that much, with all the news over Treyarch developing it, but it's nice to play a beta... makes you feel exclusive, lol.

So after having spent a lot more time with the beta I can say I'm absolutely not digging it.

Even for a beta this game buggy as ****. And the weapon/perk/kill streak balance is so ****ing wonky, I really don't see how Treyarch could possibly fix this mess before release. This is definately a game that could use at least another six months of development time.

Oh well, at least we have Infinity Ward's next Call of Duty to look forward to next year.

So I got my 360 back a couple of days ago and I started playing the beta, and I have to say its absolutely atrocious. Horrible weapons/grenades, maps, character animations, the works...

I haven't played the beta, Modern Warfare is so great, I dont think that this one will be able to top it.

The only valid opinion is that this game wont be as good as Call of Duty 4 due to the fact this game is being developed by a bone-headed, talentless development team.

It wont, at all. I highly doubt this game will have the community that Modern Warefare does. I expect there to be an initial spike but that'll die back down when people realize its just not on par with the superior Call of Duty 4.

Yes, a bone-headed, talentless development team that produced 2 multi-platformed games in 2 years that managed to average 4 out of 5 stars across the board from critics and users alike and sell multi-millions of copies. Quite a feat for such boneheads!

Yet you haven't played the final game yet, such a sooth-sayer, or maybe it's just more bs being spewed.

You can attempt to argue all you want on Treyarchs behalf, they have NO idea as to what they are doing compared to the VASTLY superior Infinity Ward, any idiot can see that. This will be proven once again when CoD:WaW drops. Im not saying WaW will suck, but it will not be a better over all title compared to IW's CoD4, TA just doesnt have what it takes.

I don't have to play the final game to know it wont stack up to the game that was developed by the much more talented team over at Infinity Ward. Its simple, Treyarch is a poor development team, Infinity Ward is a fantastic development team, period. Look at the work on similar titles. Call of Duty and Call of Duty 2 were great titles, CoD: Big Red One and CoD3 were poor titles. See a pattern there???

So a team that doesn't make a game 'better overall title' than Cod4, a game which has managed to average in the 90's, is developed by a 'VASTLY' inferior development company? Seriously, is this the angle you are taking?

You just have it out for Treyarch, admit it, did they hurt you in some way?

Sorry, 'poor' titles do NOT average 4 out of 5 stars with critics and fans alike, and sell multi-million units, again, has Treyarch hurt you, did you get rejecting for a job over there or something?

Right, because we all know that only great titles sell millions of units.:whatever:

Compare Treyarchs CoD games to IW's CoD games. They're poor and thats not up for debate.

Treyarch is a poor developer when compared to Infinity Ward. Period.

Read what I said again, not just sales, but average ratings greater than 4 of 5 with critics AND players alike, so 'whatever' right?

This proves the Treyarch dev team producing these CoD games are far from poor, 'less than' IW I agree, IW is one of the greatest development teams in the history of gaming. If you're qualification for a 'poor' developer is somebody that isn't as good as IW would make your 'poor' list a mile long.
