Any ideas? Keep in mind that besides Fantastic Four, 20th Century Fox owns the film rights to the X-Men and Daredevil/Elektra.

I could see Reed maybe mentioning McCoy name for some scientific help when Reed tries to nutralize SS, or mentioning Prof.X and the X-men for help when Galactus appear, with Johnny rushing out head first saying "nah, we can handle it". :cwink:

There was a rumor that Hank McCoy might appear, which would completely ROCK!

I'd also like to see a scene with Johnny and Wyatt Wingfoot....

I wanted a Namor reference, but I don't think it would be possible consdering the character isn't owned by 20th Century Fox. Still, it's always good to hope. Characters i'd consider mentioning would be some of the X-men and maybe a classic villain of the FF.

I remember Kelsey Grammar making a comment about a "Beast" cameo in the sequel a few months ago on a morning talk show in California.

^ I don't remember that, still it would cool.

Yeah, it was from a good source. The source is a brother of a guy that works on the movie. He was watching the morning show when Kelsey was on.

That's cool. As I said, I would like a mentioning in the film.

If we actually see the wedding, and not just the "getting ready" for the wedding, which I fear is what we are going to get, then I don't see how they cannot have at least a mentioning of other Marvel shareholders.

That would be so cool. If they did show the wedding, we could see a bunch of Marvel heroes. If not then maybe just some.

And i'm not sure if they could get away with it but they could have Willie Lumpkin bring a copy of the Daily Bugle. Or the Fantasticar could swoop by school for the gifted.:woot:

I like that idea. In the comics lots of superheros come to Reed and Sue's wedding.

But I didn't know, in the films, the FF knew so many other superheroes. I thought they wanted their indentities to be kept secret, so it would be illogical for them to invite world-known superheroes to their wedding.

FF2 takes place a few years after FF1 so they couldhave hooked up with a few other superheros. So, its not impossible.:cwink:

In Superman Returns theres a reference to Batman and Aquaman that makes me a little giddy.:woot:

I agree, many heroes could show up.

maybe we will see alot of other super heroes in there civilian identities...it seems from the comics that alot of them are in on the know of others identities..example...The Avengers all pretty much know each others alter egos..it would be a real treat for us comic book fans to see Steve Rogers or Hank Pym...of course there should be some who are there in costume..She Hulk or Thor perhaps..seeing Dr. Strange would be sweet..I just dont think they should overdue the super hero cameos

That would OWN in soo many ways!

Yeah man, an appearance of Hank McCoy to assist - perhaps right when Galactus appears or something like that.

Its ok to wish big :yay:

What was the Batman/Aquaman reference in Superman Returns?

I sincerely hope they don't decide to insert Wolverine as a cameo into FF2... Hank McCoy would be AWESOME to see, but I don't know. Perhaps there will be a mention of the destruction of Alcatraz or something.

Jason is wearing Aquaman pyjamas in the final scene.

Gotham city is mentioned in a news report. They also had props on the Daily Planet set like a Gotham City phonebook and a clock in Perry White's office showing the time in Gotham.

And the coolest of them all is the Daily Planet newspaper which included a story on ''Bat Creature" being spotted in Metropolis with a picture of a shadowy Batman jumping off of a building with Jimmy Olsen photo credits. :woot:

We'll probably need to wait until the dvd is released to see those last 3 bits though, only the first reference actually made it into the film(visibly).

From what I understand, only if Fox owns them. Which is what? X-men, and ummmm, X-men?

Cool! Thanks, Retro.

If they have a wedding scene, I'd like to see a cameo of Lee & Kirby (a double for Jack of course) reprising their roles from the original comic - trying to crash the wedding in their top hats and tails. They could use Stan and someone with Jack's build, smoking a cigar, and with his face partially obscured.

Now that would be a fitting tribute.

Beast or Xavier
X-Men is set in the not too distant future (explains Stryker's knowledge of Franklin Richards), Fantastic Four in present day. So it'd possible to have cameos from the original X-Men, even Cyke.:D
