Here's something I've been wondering about lately. Fox still owns the film rights to X-Men, Daredevil, and the Fantastic Four. If you could revert the rights for only one of them back to Marvel right now, which one would you choose and why?

I know which one I'd pick, but I want to hear some other opinions first.

X-Men. It's too big in the Marvel Universe to leave behind.

probably F4

marvel has a better chance at getting DC properties before they get X Men lol

fantastic four, out of all of the ones that are not in marvel hands, spidey for sure.

X-Men. I'm tired of seeing these characters wasted time and time again.

Fantastic Four. I prefer to keep the X-Men in their own universe, and I'd rather put Daredevil under the same studio as Spider-Man.

Oh how suprising! More people want FF to return! I would have thought the X-men would be way ahead.

Oh well, I guess that's a testament to the effectiveness of X-men First Class. Still, it would be wonderful, at least for the sake of mentioning Wanda and Pietro's lineage in an Avengers movie.

If it has to be either-or, I'd go with the 4. X-Men are pretty much their own universe anyway, so I'm not all kafuffled about Fox maintaining them as a separate entity (even though I disagree with their handling of quite a few of the characters), and Daredevil deserves a more adult, less-Disney studio. The FF would fit quite nicely in the four-color world that the MCU is creating; DD and X-Men, not so much.

Fantastic Four, easily. The relationship between them and the Avengers is just too important. Not to mention that I want to see the rivalry between the Thing and the Hulk onscreen. The Fantastic Four's villains are also far too important to the Marvel universe. Doctor Doom, for one, would make a fantastic Avengers villain, as well. You know how thrilling it'd be to see an Avengers movie and Fantastic Four movie come out and have Doom be the villain in both?

And the cosmic movies which Marvel will begin developing absolutely, positively need the cosmic characters that're attached to the Fantastic Four, specifically the Silver Surfer and Galactus. Does Fox have Annihilus and Blastaar, too? Either way, Marvel NEEDS those characters to make their cosmic universe blossom.

As for the X-Men, they've spent most of their existence segregated from the rest of the Marvel Universe. For the most part they've existed like a universe within a universe. They're perfectly fine as a separate entity over on Fox.

I picked the Fantastic Four mainly because of Reed Richards' insight to everything, the increased liklihood of Dr.Doom being used to his fullest potential and a Hulk vs Thing bout.

While I'd love to see how the MCU's citizens would embrace a superhero team like the Avengers as opposed to an openly all mutant superhero team like the X-Men ,I also feel that there are more than enough X-Men for their own universe.

As for Daredevil,I most want a tv series but would also love a universe he could share with the more street level heroes like Luke Cage,Iron Fist, the Punisher, the Daughters of the Dragon,Shang Chi and even Spider-Man.

From the list: Fantastic Four, without doubt. A F4 film with cosmic elements should be huge, more than half the scope of the Avengers adaption.

Fantastic Four

Never read the books, but they seem like such a great team potentially to be on screen.

Fantastic Four. They'd fit just fine with the tone of the MCU ( unlike the X-Men ), and bring with them a boatload of useful characters and setting elements. Not that Daredevil couldn't fit, but the only major character he'd bring along is the Kingpin, who isn't especially relevant to any of the current MCU characters.

Pretty sure I don't want X-Men or Daredevil to become a series that revolves around humor and action VS exploration of themes.

Fantastic Four at Disney? Yes, please.

Fantastic Four has the most to gain by going to Disney.

Fantastic Four.

Marvel is creating a cohesive universe, and the X-Men universe is too big and too separate for the studio to do it justice alongside everything else it has going on right now. Besides, I think First Class provides a nice contrast to the family friendly, safer Marvel films.

The Fantastic Four, on the other hand, is right up Marvel's alley. The characters are manageable and their tone and storylines sync perfectly with the rest of Marvel’s cinematic universe. Wouldn't it be great to see the Fantastic Four working side-by-side with Captain America, Tony Stark, Thor, etc., especially as they tackle ever increasing intergalactic threats, like [BLACKOUT]Thanos[/BLACKOUT]? That's the first thing I thought of after walking out of the Avengers, and it has more precedence in the books than the Avengers working with the likes of the X-Men.

How can Chris Evans play Johnny Storm and Captain America?

Obviously if FF were to come to Marvel, the previous films wouldn't be canon(I wouldn't want them to be either.) If I had to pick it would be FF. I'm actually a bigger fan of X-men and Daredevil, but the Fantastic Four are integral to the Marvel universe and I really want Dr. Doom done right.

I agree with the FF coming back to Marvel, but as a reboot, and all new actors, which would fix the Chris Evans thing.

Daredevil needs to stay away from Disney. I think that the next Daredevil film should have a big Scorsese influence i.e. rough violence and Catholicism. I don't know if Disney would go for a movie like that.
