Didn't Brett Ratner once want to cast Serena Williams in the role of one of the mutants as some actual character who is normally blonde possibly, and a bit of a hooker type? I don't know which character that is, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Emma Frost. I don't know why anyone would want to watch her? I'm remember her little role in Law and Order: SVU. :barf:

Well, he was nailing her at the time, so it just figures.

Here's an article. I dont' know if it's the same link you saw. There were various news articles at the time of X3:

I think with Serena or Venus in the role, he should've made it transsexual hooker, because that's what they look like in the accompanying image on that page:

That's basically short-lived X-Men character Stacy X/X-Stacy from the relaunched X-Men line about a decade ago.

be careful what i wish for you mean like xmen,x2 and first class?

i will gladly keep on wishing

Well congratulations...you just listed the only 3 decent Marvel films in Fox's library. But First Class wasn't as great as some of you make it sound.

Is had some stand out scenes and a "couple" of cool characters in an otherwise horrible continuity that Fox can't even seem to follow ...

But since critics who never picked up an X-men book in their lives liked it, things like Mystique being Charles's little blue pet growing up while never meeting Cain "Juggernaut" Marco as a child get a pass.

Fox takes these cheap shortcut scripts in order to shoehorn in more characters only to prevent them from making good stories that involved certain characters in the future.

It's to a point where Fox doesn't even have faith in itself...Why else would the hint that the next Wolverine will be a stand alone film instead of taking queue on what Marvel's doing?

I have no problem with Daredevil going back to Marvel.

It didn't really have a chance with FOX anyway unlike with X-Men.

I don't mind them changing some things, and it's still too early to talk about Fox and their continuity issues with the franchise, it was clear that by X-Men Origins: Wolverine they didn't know where the hell they were going, but since then they seem to have changed management, which is now giving more freedom to their directors, and from the looks of it, it seems like Days of Future Past will deal with these continuity problems if they indeed joing the First Class cast with the original trilogy cast.

I like the way they're now going with the franchise and how we can expect anything to happen while the quality keeps being good with Bryan Singer and Mathew Vaugh controling it, it's a nice difference to the way things are going in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I can guarantee you that the day Marvel get all their characters back you will see many less marvel movies per year, right now they even have good material for some 5 different tv shows but seem to barelly develop one and decide to completelly change a property for TV when the original character would work much better, like when they were trying to make a Frank Castle show that ripped off Dexter.

For all their mistakes, I don't want to see X-Men Marvelized. Keep it with Fox and hope they do a partial reboot for continuity. Let's say restarting at X2 and going from there.

Fox already did that with X-Men: First Class.

wasted how lol

x men first class was a phenomenal film

+1....!!! what a smile and long lasting enjoyment i had from x men first class.
and now thats how badly i wished Vaughn had did Xmen last stand rather than raettner.

if i had to choose between the 2 reboot-able films of daredevil and fantastic four...i'd very easily pick FF. i just had no problem with DD as some others.
but FF was made into a cheap cartoonish comedy,IMO.

I voted for DD.I'd love to see Matt pop up in a Marvel movie.

FF deserves another shot, but it probably wouldn't be in the cards for a while.

In all honesty,X-men hasn't done badly at Fox.
