Cameron Bright is Leech!!

Oh come on it would be a cute scene and a nod to generation x fans.

Yes, I said it would be. I t's just that, cute is not what I think when I think X-Men :p

Well i'm a girl and I think artie and leech are cute.

I figured that much ljr, which there is no problem with either of those facts. Except maybe the finding them cute, you have seen them sometimes haven't you? :p. Nah, they can be ''cute." -rolls eyes-

Back on topic though, I agree with the poster above who said, that I doubt they'll put Cameron in makeup. I imagine will have something sorta like they did with Artie in X2.

They'll probably just give him contacts and make him dirty looking.I was watching the animated series the other day,and Leech used telekinesis to make his way thru a mob.Is this one of his powers?I don't remember him being able to do this but I may be wrong.I wonder how Leech is going to factor into the the plot, man I'm excited.

UPDATE

Heres a brand new video interview with actor Cameron Bright that was recorded a few days ago. He doesn't talk about X3 but his new indy flick and one of his hobbies. The most interesting thing -besides the fact he's surprisingly shy- is the look of his hair. Apparently (according to camfans.org) he shaved it 6 weeks ago for the first leg of his shoot as Leech. He's taking a break now and will then return in November for more filming (according to camfans.org). Does Leech start the movie without hair and end it without? Or vice versa?

I still need to contact the proper channels here but I am sure that it will be a go, providing of course that we are at home at the time. Halle Berry has already donated a signed picture of her for the cause. Sweet of her huh. Not sure if you are aware of this but she has Diabetes Type 1 just like Cam's friend Jake Kaese. Not sure yet what we will put up for people to bid on yet and we are only going to have the items avail to win by our home area fans. But I am going to try to get the local TV to film it and if that happens I will get Itsy to put it up on the site. If you wish to make donations for the cause I will let you know for sure later if it is a go!!!!! We are all syked.

My educated guess right now is that Leech will be pretty isolated to The Cure/Legacy Virus side of X3.

But he well could be the focal point there.

Hey endevor... you once asked me if I would have my son doing something for x-men even if it was background work... well we are going to the set on Monday!! I just got the call and he is totally thrilled!

No, it isn't. That's just a typical TAS inconsistency.

UPDATE
A mesage from the man (or boy) himself - Cameron Bright. He posted the following on update on the boards of fansite camfans.org on the shaving of his head for his Leech role which they're planning to make in to a charity thing. Also, according to his mom (Anne) he'll look like Kojak!

Cameron

It is almost time for me to turn off my computer for the night but want to say hi to all of you before I do.
I had alot of fun at the Toronto Film Festival. I wish I could have stayed a few days longer. (I think mom send some pictures to Desha for you.) I was standing in the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel and Cuba Gooding Jr. came up to me, shook my hand and said I was awesome in Birth. My mom thought that was cool, so did I. Viggo Mortensen was waiting to leave the lobby of the same hotel and I walked past him and he said Hi to me. My mom was like "Awww, I wish that was me" She likes him.
I am having fun paintballing and I bought myself a new gun. It is a black Ion, with electronic revy hopper, dye ultra light barrel, dye sticky grip in silver, and it shoots very fast and accurate. It is sweet. I sometimes find myself drumming my 2 trigger fingers on things as if I was shooting the gun. My mom asked me if I had a nervous twitch and I told her that I was just trigger happy. She says that it is a bit better than cracking my knuckles.
I think my mom mentioned that I may be shaving my head for Juvy Diabetes in November. She told me today that I could get it shaved at one of the intermission periods at the Clippers hockey game in town. That may happen on November 6. Mom is going to ask my manager if getting shaved 3 weeks before I film would be ok or not.
To the girls who like Bryce...he has a girlfriend now. Sorry but it is true. He took Kylee for dinner and a movie tonight to celebrate 2 months together. He is never home and my mom misses him. lol Kylee is very nice and her and Bryce are trying to set me up with her 12 yr old sister. I am thinking "No Way" besides Mom wants me to be at least 14 before I date.
I have to get off this now. Thanks for this fan site. Cameron

Another story on Cameron and X3.

Attended a party for THANK YOU FOR SMOKING hosted by In Style magazine. I walked in the door at the same time as actor Cameron Bright and his mother, and immediately noticed that Cameron looked less than thrilled to be there. I like kids and I particularly like kids of that age -- Cameron is 12 -- and would have sought him out for conversation regardless. He's a cool individual. I wanted to know how he felt about situations like this, having a job that required him to hang out with adults who were wining and dining on a rooftop patio, casual conversation backdropped by the hum and buzz of ambition, negotiation, people slinking off into the shadows with their cell phones, a situation I would have found deathly boring when I was a kid. "This is my first festival," Cameron told me. (He was also in BIRTH and GODSEND). "It's okay, it's just that there aren't any other kids here. There's nobody my age to talk to." He likes to play paintball. He talked about how the producers of the movie fitted him up with a paintball suit and talked about taking him out to play -- then decided not to. Cameron said, mimicking them, "'What if he gets an injury?'" He talked about seeing GODSEND on DVD with a friend of his, who got scared, but Cameron only laughed because he knew when all the scary parts were coming up.

Cameron was an intense-looking child -- he joked about this, and the kind of parts it helped get him -- who has turned into an astonishingly striking adolescent. In the months since filming SMOKING he's grown longer and leaner, his voice deeper. He seems perfectly cast for X-MEN 3. I told him that one of our sons was named after Professor Xavier.

At the dinner table I discussed LUNAR PARK with Adam Brody, who turns out to be a big fan of Bret Easton Ellis. ("David [the producer] thinks Adam's going to be a huge movie star, wants to find a vehicle for him," someone told me. But Bret's agent had laughed at the idea of the film rights to LUNAR PARK going to anything other than a major studio). Talked about writing with Jason Reitman, the writer-director, when his cell phone went off: "This is about the deal," he told me apologetically, "or else I'd never take this." And he went slinking off into the shadows.

Some of us went on to a club, where David, the producer, continued to take phone calls. Someone told me there was a bidding war going on for the film. Someone told me that Jason was "a mess". Someone told me that a beloved talk show host is a lesbian, that her best friend is actually her lover, that she heard this from a friend who's assistant to a famous actor who's close friends with the aforementioned talk show host. Someone told me that ************ dies in X-Men 3, which was news to me (and disappointing). Someone told me about an affair an acquaintance had had with a predatorial older woman when he himself was quite underage ("Lucky bastard," said someone else). A Canadian woman in a cowboy hat told me she was going to buy my book, which I appreciated. I was getting increasingly drunk. E and I hit another party but I couldn't take it anymore; we ducked out and went to McDonald's next door, where I ran into an actor from LA I know enough to say hello to, who was wearing a black t-shirt that said I AM PROUD OF MY PARTS. "I am proud of my parts too," declared a woman who was standing behind him. E and I went back to the hotel, slept, and in the car ride to the airport the next morning found out, via the all-important all-knowing all-seeing cell phone, that SMOKING went to Fox Searchlight for 6.9 million. The people involved seem happy and relieved.

I think that worries me. I don't know Cameron Bright that well; does he enjoy what he does?

If the mother thinks Leech should be in a few more movies, then...

Hopefully somewhere in the movie, they give mention to the Morlocks.Just as a nod to the fans and just to show they exist in the movie-verse.Something like "We found him living in the sewers with many others we could not identify."

I just found a few set pics on his official site, I don't think they've been posted.
