but honestly does Artie even have a mutant power? seriously?

wait no, i take that back, i read Xtreme X-Men, i enjoyed it. Claremont works best when he's taken over and given free reign. besides if i took over the X-books after Morrsion and Austen i think i'd rip out my hair and go screaming for the hills.

Morrison is actually a very good writer, he can write very smart and fast pased dialogue. However he is one arrogant sob who was more concerned with satisfying his own ego than helping the X-Men books.

and Morrsion, when he was first on the books, i was totally excited. he is a brilliant writer, but what he did to the X-Men was....idiotic. let's have Cyclops and Emma hook. oh and lets turn Emma into a diamond(?) what? let's also get rid of Beast's classic and much loved look and make him a cat looking creature. Cut the little guy some slack. His story is actually pretty sad. Go back and read the early X-Factor books if you care to know more about him.

I find it interesting that a kid who goes through such an amazing physical and mental transformation still has the strength to cope with the world. He took to his new form of communication as a natural.

He had his name from doing Authority, he let it go to his head.... and the idiots at Marvel's editorial office gave him free reign. The result? Throw continuity and reason out the window. Allow him to make changes at a whim simply because he wants to... Turning Beast into a cat because since he shared the same nickname as the character in the fairytale that Disney did a movie off, well it was only "logical" that he would look like that character . I don't know about you but I think that kind of logic could only be conceived by somebody whose braincells are being consumed by crack

I was wondering about Bright, he's got those eyes that stand out. I can picture those eyes being even more piercing if they give him green skin. Then again they might not show his eyes at all and just do some sort of CG overlay work to make them look huge and buglike.
I can't wait to see the concept they come up with for Leech!

After some forum browsing, I'm pretty surprised as to how many people have logic going "OMG!!!1!!11! Leech is in the movie! That must mean that the Morlocks are in it too! Which means that It'll have the mutant massacre storyline coinciding with the Cure and Dark Phoenix saga! That means that Gambit will definitely be in it! And since Leech is in the movie, he can turn off Rogue's powers and they're do it all night long!"

This isn't proof that the Morlocks are in it at all. $10 says they'll probably just make passing reference to it, like the warden saying "We found this kid living in a sewer or something.

In trying to get some more information about Cameron Bright's role in X-Men 3 film. I managed to contact Cameron's mom, Anne Bright. She was able to confirm that Cameron is playing Leech, a member of the Morlocks. Due to the secrecy of the script she was unable to give me and details of the role.

She did say, "we are thrilled about this part...duh.. but the plot is secret so we dont even know what he will be doing, just that he is going to be bald. He is looking forward to it."

She also told me that they, Her and Cameron, will be in Toronto for the film festival in September. Cameron has to start school September 6, then cut class at the end of the week for the festival, and the premiere of Thank You For Smoking, which also stars Aaron Eckhart, Adam Brody, and Rob Lowe among others. Cameron plays the son of Big Tabaco's chief spokesperson in the satire.

Funnily enough it doesn't quote her saying that. The blog author says it. "She was able to confirm that Cameron is playing Leech, a member of the Morlocks" No where is that quoted, and looks like the person is just paraphrasing. IF she had of said it, it would be quoted like her statements quoted in the following paragraph.[Ions expected more scrutiny from TNC]
