Leech Question; If Leech was put next to Nightcrawler, would he suddenly lose his tail, blue skin and grow extra fingers or just have his teleporter powers disabled?

The answer is no. Leech's power does not affect passive mutations. Passive mutations is a term used to describe physical mutations such as Beast having fur, Nightcrawler having extra limbs etc. For the same reason he would not make Blob skinny, but he would render him more vulnerable and would take away his super strength and gravity altering power.

Edit: Its the same scenario with most of the power dampening technology that's been used against the X-Men over the years.

Funnily enough it doesn't quote her saying that. The blog author says it. "She was able to confirm that Cameron is playing Leech, a member of the Morlocks" No where is that quoted, and looks like the person is just paraphrasing. IF she had of said it, it would be quoted like her statements quoted in the following paragraph.[Ions expected more scrutiny from TNC]

Well, then why does the blogger connect the movie character of Leech with the comic counterparts Morlock status?

It just doesn't seem necessary to include if Leech isn't going to be portrayed as a Morlock.

The blogger is obviously familiar with the X-Men universe, so when Cameron's mother said he'd be playing a character named Leech the blogger explained that this is a character who is a Morlock. That's what I see from that quote, not that Cameron's mother knew about the Morlocks.

Good point. I see what you mean.

I just think its kind of cool that the Morlocks are at least part of the rumor mill. I always liked that aspect of the X-Men universe when I was reading the comics.

I don't think they'll put a little kid like Cameron through 4 hours of makeup like that. If he does wear makeup, it'll be simplistic, so in a way, he'll be less ugly than some of his renditions in the comics.
