Huh... you're right. I coulda swore there was a LEECH - The Official Thread thread, but alas, there's not one that I can find.

We saw in the teaser and in released pics a shot of Leech running up to Storm and giving her a big hug... he's got hair in that shot, so it's maybe at the end after his hair's had a chance to grow back, or it could be at the beginning of the movie.

Same thing as Equilibrium essentially but from a different perspective. Bleak future, Totalitarian government with a mysterious leader known as "Big Brother" (like "Father" in Equilibrium) controls everything and prevents free speech, will, etc. Equilibrium's main difference is that it takes the story from the perspective of one of the "thought police" (or Grammaton clerics in Equilibrium) instead of one of the oppressed citizens.

he gunna be killed off, by magento, or is he gunna join in with the morlocks?

Hmmm..It's hard to determine..Storm is wearing the same clothes as she does when she's talking to Xavier and looking at Wolverine in the trailer...It might be near the end of the 1st act somewhere...

That is what I think. The pick of Leech happy and running to Storm would be early in the film. He gets captured somehow and is tested on and they shave his hair. If that school scene was at the end, it would have to be over a few months since they saved Leech or Leech has the ability to grow body hair superfast as well as nulify mutant powers.

Well, it's clear that mystique finds out leech is the source based on her direct quote from the trailer.

I'll bet the gov't essentially kidnaps him from the morlocks to begin with, and they are pissed. Magneto finds out about leech and who he is with. Once he realizes that this group of mutants could be helpful, he askes them to join. Because of their previous animosity over their oppression by the humans, and the fact that the humans kidnapped leech, and that magneto could get him freed, it makes all too much sense for them to join his army.

As for the x men finding out, someone probably hears something about it on the news and beast goes to kavita seeking to find out if it works (just like comics) and we get the scene where beast is reaching forward and changing.

Also, maybe the scene when kitty is being chased by juggs, she is just a diversion and that is where beast first goes to ask about the cure. beast and kitty have to change their fact finding mission to a leech getting/hiding mission. They warn kavita that the brotherhood may hurt leech and she agrees to let them take him or she takes him out of the building to hide him herself.
