exactly. it's hard to find a story that is TOTALLY original now-a-days. almost all forms of art is inspired by something else, that's why there is the saying 'art imitates life'.

Cameron's a good storyteller, but OMG the dialogue he writes can be so atrocious. I was cringing during the entirety of Titanic. And the most famous lines in Terminator are the one-liners.
No doubt it'll be a visual feast though. That's Cameron's bread and butter.
But he won all those Oscars for it....Yeah but we don't talk about titanic . That's the statistical anomaly in an otherwise excellent career
Seriously his speeches are written for the actors. Naturally he's gonna give someone like Arnie few lines because aside from the mumbling and the accent , he's more of a physical actor. Linda Hamilton on the other hand is given a hefty piece of the dialogue and handles it quite well.
And that's what most of the GA has seen in theaters anyway, even if they've heard of Terminator and Aliens.
