I've heard from some people inside the rather strange world of cinema, and they have told me that everything points to the Cr follow up coming out next year. They plan to do a similar shoot as with Casino Royale, also word is Babs and mike are very pleased with Craig as is Campbell, and the plan is that both will return for the next installment.

They used to hire different director to make the films now 007 producers copying Batman Begins route...

well if it is a direct sequel and continues the same story arc then it would be wise to use the same director.i hope they do start one for release in 2007 it is great for promotions..2..007

Terence Young directed the first two and Thunderball

Guy Hamilton directed Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever Live and Let Die and The Man with the Golden Gun-3 Bond films in a row.

Lewis Gilbert directed YOLT and then later on directed TSWLM and MR.

John Glen directed 5 straight Bond flicks, from FYEO-LTK.

So no, they're not copying BB.

Word is that most of the Royale crew will be back for the film,
It is sadi that Dench is back with Craig, and rumor is that Giancarlo Giannai COULD return as Mathis, I don't know about Wright as Leitier though...

If you think that is copying then Batman Begins copied Indiana Jones... In other words: Bull****.

what would/should the sequel be? Live & Let Die? or an original story?

Yes I been told by four posters thanks

2007 is the best marketing device for a movie ever, it would be silly not to release a Bond movie next year.

I'm glad Campbell is coming back. He really seems to have a good understanding of what makes the 007 character work.
