Survivor Series has always been a favorite PPV of mine. Even the traditional five on five matches. The problem is WWE has done a piss poor job of creating two evenly matched teams during some years or teams that make sense.

The match ups on paper just don't look as compelling as they used to because the roster is so thin on star power and the booking is so poor. Its not the concept thats flawed but the execution.

well for a survivor series ppv, i think two traditional four on four elimination matches would be good. it wouldn't have the champions in either matches. if the wwe built up feuds better, i think the concept could still work. or have a powerful stable. i see ziggler/swagger/rhodes/ and a morrison heel turn would be a good stable. unfortunately you have these matches on raw and it really has devalued the ppv. i think wwe needs to cut down on everything to make things more special. instead of raw being 2 hrs long, cut it by a half hour and then really build up the superstars. it's tough seeing the same people, and maybe this way you could have the champions on the show occassionally instead of every week. wwe needs to build people up more

I agree. Thats the real problem with the Survivor Series format. They just need to book the matches and participants like they matter.
