I am interviewed by various magazines and radio programs from time to time...I MUST use my name.

I often take payments online...and I MUST give out my real name in order to cash checks and money orders.

I am often the publicity contact for bands and their press releases are posted on various internet websites.

Therefore...my name MUST be public to a degree.

I have made my personal Myspace private, and removed any exact personal info from my profile page...but it doesnt take long to say...whats his company called??? Then let your fingers do the walking.

You guys are basically saying that the solution I should take is to never tell anyone the name of my company or evevr promote or ever accept money.

That just is not possible.

I will say that I have scaled back my workload considerably and made my life more private. I recently ended an exclusive promotions contract with a label and did not go public at all wuth what my career involved over the past 6 months. It wasnt needed.

Now that Im back to promoting tours, cd releases etc, it cannot be avoided to be slightly public.

There's a difference between publicizing your name in connection to the work you do, and publicizing it in connection to your ******ed opinions on a message board. The latter is likely to get you attacked. The former is business and needed. Linking people on this board to your myspace is going to do minimal good for your 'business' because no one here cares- it just opens you up to attack.

No, that is fine. We are saying that linking people to it who are having major disagreements with you is unwise, especially after you have already experienced what you described earlier. Keep it separate. You want to promote, but surely you don't want the chance of negative attention being drawn to you over an argument that in the grand scheme of things is not important and irrelevant to your career.

In addition, I had a huge charity event last year where we auctioned off actual props from movies and gave the money to the Red Cross...a Hellraiser cube, a Killer Clown From Outer Space, a Batarang, a gun from Logans Run....

I spend the vast majority of my time here just chatting about Watchmen or whahtever...but when something comes up that I think people might dig...I let them know.

Sadly, if you are a model, actor, promoter, musician, etc...it is impossible to not be open online.

And for the record...my "******ed" opinions are that darwin wrote that species adapt to better their chance of survival, and that FBI crime statistics show that most crimes are committed by people the victims trust. Thats right...look it up folks...Darwin and I are ******ed.

I ran a charity event where we auctioned off horror, sci fi and comic book movie items for the red cross. The way to bid on these items was by contacting ME. The only way to get these items were through ME. The contract with the Red Cross was signed by ME. You can split hairs all day long...but there is NO WAY for me to promote a charity event invoilving Batman and the movie you took your nym from without giving people access to ME. I am sorry...but I incorrectly assumed that people at a superhero movie website might be interested in an auction involving a batman movie prop...thats just another one of my crazy ideas...not sure how I figured that.

I have never posted my real name on this forum, but in order to promote my comic related stuff, i have had to direct people away from this site and towards others...like my Myspace. My real name isnt there either...but my business name is...and someone can use that to look up more info about me.

That's not what he wrote though. He wrote that animals descended from a common ancestor, and that through changes over time, the population of Earth became diverse and different over time. Animals don't "adapt" to nature, what happens is a series of genetic variations over time become more dominant, or simply become isolated to the point where they give rise to new species with new traits and new genetic information. Your understanding, much like your attitude, of evolution is childish at best. Animals don't "adapt", nature just weeds certain populations out, however to assume, as you did repeatedly (when you said "animals encourage the strong to survive") that traits are picked based on their strength or relative weakness is also wrong. There are plenty of animals still in existence today who are ill-suited to their environments, and for whatever reason have managed to carry on despite this. Genetic drift, mutation, and some external forces are what contribute to new species. The way you phrase your understanding of "natural selection" is far closer to eugenics, or the idea that if you breed Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jane Fonda together somehow you'll get Michael Phelps as a kid. That notion is preposterous, and Darwin purposed nothing of the sort.

By the way, yesterday I ordered a book for my college course that I need for class on Thursday. I asked for it to be shipped over night. I was expecting it to come this afternoon when it never arrives, I called Amazon and asked what happened and they said there was a mix up and that I won't get the book till Monday, thus I won't have it for class tomorrow. Amazon BETRAYED my trust. They really screwed me over. I will never trust in Amazon again.
