Why Women Love Gay Men

That article is just another one of those "women trying to tell their men what to be" things. There's always women wishing that their men would act a certain way that's entirely different from what the "norm" is, and when some changes happen they regret it. Women have been trying to change men for decades, and this is just another one of their crazy schemes.:oldrazz:

Looking at that list, there's nothing at all that women would truly want the average man to change. Women talk fashion(at least the ones that talk fashion) with women, and having their boyfriend talk fashion with them would be awkward. Gay men aren't any different from normal guys with fitness. Some work out, and some don't. Gay men are really not much different than straight men outside of sexual preference. Sensitivity is a load of crap anyway, because there are some serious double standards and lack of logic with people's definition of the word anyway.

Y'all are spot on about how gay people aren't the stereotypical types displayed on tv. Not many gay guys wear badges of gayness on their sleeves.

To me the reasons are simple:

1. As someone said above, a gay men is not going to be competing against a straight woman for a guy. Unless the crush is bisexual
2. Women really do like hanging out with guys....but they don't like a guy thats going to constantly slober around them and try to sleep with them every chance they get
3. Some gay men can be like having a good female friend minus the jealousy and other female drama

Thats what I would guess.

Yea the women I know, including my girlfriend, would be absolutely horrified if I started talking fashion in detail with them I think. Or if I was one of those guys who spends hours in the mirror plucking my eye brows and meticulously shaping my facial hair.

They want men because we are men, not male versions of themselves.

overall lesson men learn over time... Women want everything, and nothing.... they don't know what they want

What women really want is for someone to fix them some sandwiches. Everyone wants sandwiches in their life.

only if it envolves sticking a sausage between two buns

Women want what they can't have. I suppose gay guys does follow along that theme. It's also no surprise taken guys hold a higher status than say a single guy.

But why would a woman want a bloke that is just as feminine as them? Makes zero sense to me.

I wouldn't want a girl who is like a man. Sure it's cool that she watches the footie with me sometimes and enjoys a kebab on the way home from the pub on a Friday night. But that is as far as it goes for me.

I disagree. I think men are the ones always wanting what they can't have. If you don't believe me, take a a look at the Celebrities forum with Catman, terry78 and the rest of 'em. :o

I'm attracted to tomboys, so I wouldn't mind a female being into guy stuff. As long as I can click with her, she allows me to be me I'm straight.

Yea my girlfriend is a bit of a tomboy, to an extent.

But I wouldn't want some butch woman who is more manly than me. :hehe:

It seems some women want men who are more womanly than them, which I just cannot understand.

Yeah, I like a girl who's a bit of a tomboy, but still has some of the girly aspects.

Pfft! As if there aren't men who do the same thing. They're just far less publicized. I'm talking about you internet geeks dreaming of getting with babe-alicious babes like Kim K., Megan Fox et al. :p

You know how Chris Rocks says it.

When a guy sees another guy with girl he likes, he goes... what do I need to get someone like her.

When a girl sees another girl with a guy she likes, she goes.... he is mine, mine, I want him.

You know it's true :woot:

What exactly do you guys define as a "tomboy"?

Likes to play and/or watch sports and will wear a jersey with the actual colors, not the pink version. Not afraid to get a little dirty. Will drink beer, not just mixed drinks. Doesn't always have to have a perfectly made up face when going out. Things like that.

"And I will cut that *****'s throat to get him!" That entire routine was brilliant.

Is it true, ladies? Do you go to the bathroom in groups because you don't trust your girl-friends to be alone with your boyfriend?

Okay, I see. Hm. I just wonder sometimes if tomboys necessarily have to be into sports to be tomboys. Can a woman be a tomboy if she isn't into sports?

Women are *not* all like that! There's a camaraderie that runs...

Okay, I stole one boyfriend! One! :o

I dunno really. A girl who can have a laugh at herself, like isn't up her ass all the time. Who enjoys boy things like sports or cars or video games. Stuff like that.

:hehe: You know, if I didn't know better, I'd think that these vivid images that you create of me are indicative of something...
