That opinion seems so extreme, it must have been done for shock value I assumed. Either that, of you've only seen him in the bad movies. Somehow you missed his good performances in The Pursuit of Happyness, ID, IROBOT, EOST, and pardon me but I thought I Am Legend was a pretty good performance. I know we can all have opinions, but this just seems a bit over the top to be honest.

Popularity is all about perception. It's not an exact science, nor is it a fair one. People associate him with his son's actions, fair or not. But Will is the one that brought his son into the limelight, so people are going to react to that.

Well, there's no real way to prove why someone is popular or not. But Jaden gets brought up more often than not, so it's definitely a factor. Will's recent film choices are another. It's absolutely possible that people have a misconception about Will, based on Jaden. But that doesn't really matter. Misconceptions contribute to someone's popularity just like anything else.

Well by popularity, i was also interpreting that as being well liked... He can be the nicest guy in the world, but people are not liking his movies or him in them more often than not these days. I don't know about anyone else, but when it comes to Kanye, I haven't touched an album of his since he released that ****** album 808's and Heartbreak. His popularity is more negative popularity... Thats all i was saying about Will, his likability has gone down.
