well, time for my spin-off thread to go along with the earth shattering thread, entitled, Used to be Best Friends.

We had interesting, tearful, headshaking and vomit inducing responses to the above mentioned thread, so lets see if we can do the same here.

We've all had "enemies" growing up, and still might to this day, let's hear about the people that make your life just a little harder. But, what I would mostly like to talk about is that childhood bully, or maybe you were the bully, who put differences aside, and became friends.

Growing up, I had this one guy who just didn't like me. He used to push me around, and sucker punch me in the stomach just to knock the wind out of me. This mostly happened in grade school, and a little bit in Middle School. I was a bigger kid, but he was bigger, and well built. His parent's were ignorant, and you could tell his dad "got off" to the news that his kid was the school bully. Lets just call him Matt.

Well, as the years went by, I just tried to avoid him..... I grew, and started wieght lifting, and I got up there as far as the biggest guys in High School, but he was always just a little bigger. I mostly tried to avoid fights, but he was the opposite, always looking for them. We did almost come to blows sophmore year, but a teacher stopped it.

we graduated, and I continued to pursue working out, and becoming bigger and stronger. A friend (jared, you will remember him from the Best Friend Thread), threw a party, and Matt showed up, he was big still, but I surpased him.... but, when he saw me, he came up, gave me a hug, and did some shots with me. We never talked about the violence between us growing up, but we became pretty good friends for the next year or so, untill we lost touch. we do run into each other now and then, and were cool....

so much stupid stuff that happens growing up... I guess being in the real world puts thing's in perspective....

as Stewie said... some friends become enemies, some enemies become friends....

Can't say I remember a story of going from enemies to friends. I tend to hold a grudge...

The closest would be the story of my friends that screwed me over (thus becoming "enemies", I supposed), then them coming back later to apologize, and me giving them another chance.

I try not to make enemies... If I do make enemies I try not to let them know. Friends close enemies closer and all of that.

When I was in grade 5 this kid named Chris beat me up after school, my dad drove me over to his house house and talked to his parents and he apologized. A few days later we went to Science World for a field trip, our teacher split everyone up in pairs. Chris and I ended up as "buddies" and by the end of the day we became friends. We're still good friends to this day.

There's this girl I now call "Nemesis", like what Hiro calls the speedster chick in Heroes, except I actually hate her guts, and want to drop her off a hundred story building.

Strangely, pretty much any person I had a fight with in my school days, I ended up being friends with to a degree after.

Apart from one **** who was smashing me round the head with a Nokia 5110. But eh, he got his just desserts anyway so no grudges or anything.
