Transformers who turn into anything besides military aircraft or other military vehicles automatically seem to have their own ammo for their weapons already built into them but if all they do is scan a certain vehicle to become it then how does their bodies generate ammo & can they ever run out or would they keep regenerating it? If a certain Transformer ever ran out of a certain type of ammo would it just go in search of more & adapt its body to using it? Having them shoot live ammo at each other was cool but since they were alien robotic creatures maybe having them use laser or plasma weapons would have been better.

TF is a brainless movie. they are never out of ammo.

Of course they can't run out of ammo. Why should they? If a person can fall from a great height and land on something metallic and can walk away from it or the need for a pink slip to sell a car is only optional, then they can have all the ammo they want.

Come on, it's a movie about giant alien robots, logic isn't needed here. ;)

>^..^<

that's like say how can a Pokomon fit in a Poke'ball, it just does

yea, or like sayin does the joker ever run out of laughs? i dont think so.. lol ok im wayyy offf lol

i think that ''big robots are fighting'' is not the reason why they can not run out of ammo.
but when they start it making logical then the transforming robots who have human hand, legs and fingers will lose the magic.

can you make a good TF movie that is serious has a deep story and funny moments and have logic? yes you can. but the directors who are able to make this kind of movie have other work.

I just assume they replenish it like we replenish blood or saliva or skin cells. It's always going to regenerate.

They have a private contract with Federal Ammunition and they keep them stocked up all the time. Did you see them reloading in the movie!!??

Sorry, I'll leave now............

that's why i think they should have mentioned energy cubes. they can make ammo as long as they have enough energy to do it.

I wonder if it's similar to how you generate your bodily fluids. The metal they're based on would grow back. Similar to Spidey's webbing, perhaps.

Never mind referencing the movie itself or taking a cheap shot at Michael Bay.

This is something that's an issue for any Transformers generation in general. I've never thought to ask a question like this... :p I guess it could be something organically or chemically produced by their internal system.

well they said that the tail was regenerating. maybe its the same with ammo..

ahhhh who cares. its a good fun summer movie.

No no no, forget the movie!

In general, they don't seem to run out of ammo, though.

I thought of this last night when I was watching it, for some reason, funny to see this thread, but no they don't run out, it is a part of them it is like making poo poo.:woot: :trans:

I would say No they cant run out of ammo. Remember the little phone alien that they created inside the glass box? How it already had machine gun ammo to fire at the glass, as well as I think a missle or 2. And the Mountain Dew TF started shooting its cans as bullets. I think that just as they can pretty much morph into anything they want, they can morph some part of themselves as ammo.

My logic is that offscreen they scan and reconfigure existing machinery into simplified versions of cybetronian technology to make their weapons.

weapon expert iron hide probably performs this for them all in his spare time.

a quick shot of this in the second movie would clear this up, just showing him using left overs from the parts used to fix bumblebee (AND JAZZ) and making weapons/bullets out of them

It's interesting to note that if you look at Devastator closely in the final battle his right shoulder missile array DOES deplete truthfully as he is fighting. Of course you know that Jazz took out his left shoulder cannon - right before he gets tossed away like a crumpled sheet of paper from the script.
