I know it's only been one episode so far but can we offically deterime the guy with the Glasses as the Villian of Heroes?

I think it's hard to say right now for all we know he could've been a Recruiter but is it a Coincidence that he happend to get into the same cab that the professor was driving?

^Stepdad.

She told her step-mom that she wanted to know who her real parents were.

hm... i wonder if he would end up having super powers of his own also. now that would be interesting

it be interesting if they make it like hes part of an organization of people who have powers who abuse it to gain money and wealth and they try to stop who ever that are discovering about people with powers, since if people find out that people are starting to have powers, that they would havnt a hardertime to gain their money and wealth

I heard a spoiler that Claire becomes a villain after her best friend dies.

I don't think it's safe to say he's a villian. Personally, I think they're going to mislead us about him and reveal he's on the side of good or atleast not evil.

Im pretty sure dude is working for someone higher up.

Who the hell is Claire?

Claire is the Cheerleader. I also don't think Claire has the ablity to go evil IMO out of all the heros that could go evil Its The Mom with the Split Personility.

I don't think we're really going to see a prototype "evil villain" from this show. I think it will me more of a collective dangerous force that threatens everything. We know that New York is going to be bombed, or at least attempted. We know that unltimately the character have to work together and stop it. But as to who is the behind the event has yet to be seen. Terrorist? Alien? Godzilla? Who knows?!

i have my money on Godzilla... lol

claire's dad does have that evil villian quality persona, but like wolfwood said most likely there will be a twist to his character, esp since they introduced him really earlly. most likely he's just a pawn from a higher up evil villian

why cant everyone have their own agendas, have it preseted viewpoint neitral, and make you decide who is right and wrong, ala Civil War by Marvel

While the organization that drives Step dad is certainly an issue, and there is dealing with whatever it is that makes the explosion... a nuclear explosion...

But I think the bulk of conflict should come from characters' agendas conflicting. I think Claire and Mirror-Woman are the most obvious to go off the deep end, but honestly, I expect Natan Petrelli to cause the most problems for Peter, if no one else. This doesn't make Nathan a "villain" but simply an antagonist, though, if the show is done well, some people will agree with Nathan and see Peter as being childish and/or impudent.

I think it was said in the main Heroes topic that in the coming weeks:
A super powered villain will make an appearance.

I think they're gonna go the Watchmen way and avoid having a "villian" per se, more like it has been established, conflict of interests amongs the powered people

Hey it seems logical Clair's adaptive father is gonna be the first villain. Also, a preview of the next episode said he's evil.

I think Mr. Glasses is really just a red herring at this point, diverting our attention to him as a villain, while he probably is a good guy who's agenda is unknown to us at this point.

A villain, or a force that opposes the heroes, will certainly be established soon enough. And of course there will be those powered individuals that are bad. That's a given.

Too early to tell what the deal is at this point.

I agree with PLAS. Also i think there will be a distrust between two factions of heroes who are going for the same goal in different manners. Both looking at each other as if the other group is the bad guy.

I feel Nikki is gonna end up being a villain, her powers thus far seem to have no "good" use; she is essentially the incredible hulk of the group

I think Claire could end up a villain, or at least severely disturbed. Might be that she receives several mortal injuries over the space of the show, but because of her powers, can't die. This, obviously, would end up being quite unnerving, and the regular near death experiences might drive her insane. Maybe not truely evil, but detatched from reality and emotionally unstable, like Deadpool.

Since the powers in the show are kinda on the simple and toned down side of the superpowers scale, I think a villain should show up with equally simple powers, but have the particular ability be enough for the heroes to go "holy ****, how do we stop this guy?"

A thought that comes to mind is to go the Juggernaut route, and just make the villain really strong (but not too comic booky/overthetop, though) and nigh-unstoppable.

And have him be recurring throughout the show (or at least the season), akin to Jaws from James Bond; he or she rarely shows up, but when he/she does, the heroes know that they're in for a bad day.

Mainly inspired by Spike X1, why not have an energy absorber akin to The Parasite? Someone who absorbs pretty much all forms of energy directed at them and converts it into physical power. You hit him with a car, he absorbs the kinetic energy and gets stronger. You set him on fire, he absorbs the heat and gets stronger. You get the idea. Has a charater who's pretty much unstoppable but with slightly more plausible powers.
