Can you have different Color for Facial Hair and Head Hair?

It's really weird, I haev dark brown hair on my head, but my facial hair (mustache and beard) are lighter blow, and when I look into a mirror with a light I can see alot of redish/blondish hairs.
whats up with that?

My dad is a really pale white-blonde... on his head. His beard is practically ginger. The answer is yes.

I know guys who have brown hair and reddish beards, or like in my case, I have a light brunet color in my hair, yet my beard is of a much darker, almost black color, not uncommon
