Parents have a soft spot for their children. In THE WHISPERS, an unseen alien force has figured this human weakness out. They have invaded earth and are using our most unlikely resource to achieve world domination – our children.

In the country’s center of political power, Washington DC, several kids have been talking about their imaginary friend, Drill. What the parents don’t know is this friend is not as imaginary as they assume. Drill is able to entice the kids to play very dangerous games with very real consequences.

FBI agent Claire Bennigan has been called in to investigate the case of a 6-year-old girl who almost killed her mother playing a game with her imaginary friend. She wonders if this girl is disturbed or is there something bigger at play.

Meanwhile, halfway across the world, the defense department just sent Wes Lawrence to the Sahara Desert, where he witnesses what looks like an alien spaceship and something else even more inexplicable. Someone needs to start putting the pieces together to save humanity. As the game clock counts down, and the children unwittingly help the aliens, it’s a suspenseful race against an unseen enemy.
Amblin TV is co-producing with Dawn Olmstead’s Grady Girl.
Like the sound of this. I've been wondering if it would be too much like V, and it really doesn't sound like that at all.

Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton & Charlie Day Ink Big New 3-Year Deal With FX Prods. That Includes 2-Year Renewal Of ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’, Series Pickup Of Tracy Morgan Comedy, Pilot & Script Orders
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia masterminds Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton have cemented their status as FX’s MVPs with a massive new three-year deal at FX Prods. for their RCG Prods. It is said to surpass the trio’s previous $50-million three-year deal with FX signed in 2011. Like that deal, the new agreement, which will keep the trio at FX until 2017, includes a two-year renewal of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, which has received 10-episode orders for Season 11 and 12, to not only solidify its status the longest-running live-action comedy series in cable history but also tie My Three Sons for the second- longest running live-action comedy in television history.

Last year, FX flagship comedy series It’s Always Sunny successfully migrated to FXX, helping to launch the new comedy-focused channel and become its cornerstone program. The upcoming 10th season of Sunny will not launch in the fall as previous ones but unspool in January 2015, paired with RCG’s newest series, a comedy created by McElhenney, Day, Howerton, and Sunny writer Rakhe and starring Tracy Morgan. The untitled project, which has received a 10-episode, straight-to-series order, is not related to Morgan’s FX pilot Do Or Die (aka Death Pact), which is not going forward. RCG will serve as executive producers and showrunners on the series along with with Rakhe. Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, who also exec produced Do Or Die, and Nick Frenkel are executive producers.

Also part of the new deal are a blind comedy pilot order and script deals for Harder, written by Scott Marder and Glenn Howerton; We’re Good, Thanks, written by Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Artemis Pebdani and Charlie Day, with Ellis and Pebdani attached to star; and Blow Up Dolls, written by and starring Sarah Solemani. “Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton are three of the most talented comedy writers and producers in our business, not to mention very gifted actors,” said FX’s Nick Grad. “This deal is a testament to their skill, intelligence and work ethic, which combined to earn them one of the best overall deals in TV. Not bad for three guys who shot a pilot ten years ago for $200 and a few pizzas.” Following an inauspicious start, Sunny has grown into a monster property for FX and FX Prods. In addition to being one of ad-supported cable’s highest-rated comedy series among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Men 18-34, it became the first basic cable comedy series to land a cable syndication deal on another network (Comedy Central). It is a top DVD seller and among the highest selling in the Fox library. McElhenney, Day and Howerton are repped by WME and 3 Arts.
This pleases me... this pleases the **** outta me.

So Sunny will still be on FXX which is disappointing but it's still going for at least another two years which isn't.

Nothing beats the Prince Harry show that's about to come out.

Either that or the Royal Family declares war on us. Which I wouldn't even blame them for. :o

Bring Hope back.
I just watched the finale. It ended on a nice enough note although again, almost nothing was actually about Hope in Raising Hope. Sure it was about securing her a college fund but it was really mostly focused on the wedding.

Damn forgot that the finale of Raising Hope was tonight.

I will welcome our posh overlords and their biscuits and tea if they outlaw this reality tv BS.

The X Factor tells us: NO.

Didn't all that **** start over in the UK anyway?

FXX really, really needs this to make itself relevant.

The best part about these shows is that Joe McHale gives me best/saddest chunks on the Soup so I never actually have to watch them.

Any news on the Goldbergs?

Parker Young To Star In CBS Pilot ‘Cuz-Bros’
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

EXCLUSIVE: From bros on Fox’s Enlisted to cuz-bros in a CBS pilot. Parker Young is set as the co-lead opposite his Enlisged co-star Geoff Stults in CBS’ multi-camera odd couple comedy pilot Cuz-Bros, from writers David Caspe and Erik Sommers, Sony TV, CBS Studios and Fanfare. It centers on Nick (Stults), a successful, suave ladies man working as a sportscaster for a local Los Angeles TV station whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his mess of a cousin, Barry (Young) needs a place to stay. Barry is sweet, clueless and naive with an uncanny ability to say/do the wrong thing at the wrong time, even though he means really well. Both Stults and Young are cast in second position to Enlisted, which has been pulled after a low-rated midseason run on Fridays and is not expected to come back. The series revolves around three brothers (Stults, Young, Chris Lowell) in the Army. Young, who also has a recurring role on ABC’s Suburgatory, is repped by Gersh and David Dean Management.
Don't ****ing troll me, CBS.

Though, kudos to them for seeing potential in something FOX completely cast aside from the start.
