I usually try not to take pleasure from the misfortune of others, but that show looked so ****ing piss poor, it really got what it deserved.

GOOD... room for much better s**t than this bit of wipe-ass...

Sarah Wayne Callies To Co-Star In Carlton Cuse’s USA Pilot ‘Colony’
by Nellie Andreeva

Carlton Cuse’s alien invasion-themed USA pilot Colony has brought together alums from two of the biggest genre series of the last decade, with The Walking Dead‘s Sarah Wayne Callies set as female lead opposite Lost‘s Josh Holloway.

Colony, co-written by Lost co-showrunner Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal and directed by Juan José Campanella, is a family drama/thriller about life in Los Angeles after a mysterious “foreign” occupation. It centers on Will Bowman (Holloway), a former FBI agent who — to protect his family — is forced to collaborate with the occupational government to bring down the growing resistance movement inside the Los Angeles colony. Callies will play Will’s wife, Katie Bowman, a mother of three who faces a daily struggle to keep her family safe and united in an occupied Los Angeles.

Colony is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Prods. Before her stint on The Walking Dead, Callies, repped by More/Medavoy, Resolution, and Sloane, Weber and Dern, co-starred on Fox’s Prison Break. She is currently shooting the feature film Pay the Ghost opposite Nicholas Cage and recently wrapped The Other Side of the Door.
Dear God, please let this character be better than Lori.

She does deserve a good character who isn't so wasted.

John Mulaney's acting was downright atrocious in the pilot. You're telling me, somebody watched this and deemed him suitable to base an entire series around?

It probably would have been in FOX's best interest to keep American Dad!

it was downright a pain to watch

Has anyone heard about that HBO miniseries from Jonathan Nolan called "Westworld" with
Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton, Miranda Otto, Rodrigo Santoro, Ed Harris?

Westworld is an upcoming science fiction thriller television pilot for HBO written by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, based on the 1973 film of the same name, which was written and directed by famed American novelist Michael Crichton. Nolan will serve as executive producer along with Joy, J. J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub, and Bryan Burk with Nolan directing.

Described as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin," the series will center on a futuristic amusement park called Westworld.

Sounds pretty good to me.

A couple weeks ago, I watched the premiere of that awful show where Debra Messing plays a cop. It was atrocious. I even WANTED to like it because Messing is super hot and can be charming in the right role. But it was garbage.

I saw a commercial yesterday where they said it was the #1 new show of the fall, or something to that effect.

**** you, America. Your taste sucks.

Sweet Jesus alive....

What the hell was that. The show got greenlit with that acting?

Jesus, poor Elliot Gould...

Jesus Christ. How is this show not cancelled already? I've seen Fox cancelled pilots immediately after they aired, Seinfeld (the show within the show, not the show itself) style.

I want a week 2 for it, just to see how low it can go below it's already low premiere.

I'm sounding like a broken record, but screw it, this annoys me. They need to kill multicam sitcoms. It's 2014. The format is cheap laugh fodder and not funny anymore.

There could be a chance a show could come and innovate again like How I Met Your Mother, but I doubt it.

That Mulaney guy is awful. He talks like a damned robot.

I think there is a place for them on certain channels and time. Disney Channel, Nickelodeon...ABC Family.

But I agree. Multicam sitcoms are usually terrible. The only one worth a damn in a while is HIMYM

Then again Big Bang Theory still gets really big numbers for some reason.

Yep, there's a thread for it already.

And yet for whatever reason, Tim Allen still has a TV show

I would love to see how quickly people abandoned this show. God, that was terrible.

Big Bang gets a pass because occasionally the writing is pretty clever.

That results in Jim Parsons winning the Emmy every year. He will continue to do so for another 2 or 3 years.

I guess. I dont think it's a terrible show. Its kind of just like something I wouldnt mind watching in a waiting room or something. It's an offensive, easy joke making show to me.

Despite that I still dont get it's ratings because I still never met someone who watches in religiously, or NCIS for that matter

So ABC canceled The Neighbors for a show about a Latina comic who (based on the trailer) is the female George Lopez (which BTW was an awful show).

Some of the stuff they make in Big Bang Theory can't be done in any other regular sitcom, which is already a plus. The cast and the characters are likeable, they can switch and pair them in many ways and the show always feels fresh.
Could it be a lot better? Oh yeah. I think it has a lot of room to improve, specially when it comes to punchlines or how certain plots end.
