"Just" 4.3 million?

That's still too many.

It is, but when you compare it to where those numbers were a year ago, that's a big ass drop-off.

Any news on "Undateable"s rating?

I LOL quite a bit during that show but it seems like they're trying to burn off the episodes by showing them 2 at a time :(

Last week both had a 0.9 and just over 2 million live viewers. So not too far from what NBC was getting during the regular TV season. That could be enough for NBC to bring it back as a midseason show or back in June 2015 or just cancel it. This season could get through the growing pains and season two could be much better.

Not much, but some of the shows to watch for:

I would really like to know exactly what pilots you think are watchable, in a big list! Consider it! –Rebooted
I’ll of course be posting my annual First Impressions series later this summer, but for now I’m keeping a running “rankings” over on my Facebook page. Thus far, the Top 3 dramas I have watched are How to Get Away With Murder, Gotham and Madam Secretary, while Selfie and Marry Me are leading the sitcom pack – with a huuuuge, sad gap separating No. 3 and below.

surprised that person liked Selfie. It looked terrible to me

Dear Netflix,

Put all of Bryan Fuller's shows on instant, or I'll hurt the ones you love.

Sincerely,
Sawyer

PS: Mockingbird Lane too, b****. :o

Hopefully How to Get Away with Murder is able to keep me on board for its entire run. I left Scandal after season two, although I did watch bits and pieces of the last season. I left Grey's Anatomy (yes I did watch it at one point), three seasons ago, although I did watch the episodes that led to the exit of Sandra Oh. I was in on two seasons of Private Practice, although I did watch the finale.

Syfy Orders ‘The Magicians’ Pilot Based On Lev Grossman Fantasy Books
By THE DEADLINE TEAM

EXCLUSIVE: Syfy has greenlighted a pilot for The Magicians, an adaptation of Lev Grossman’s best-selling fantasy book trilogy. The pilot for the potential one-hour drama, from Universal Cable Productions, was written by John McNamara (Prime Suspect) and Sera Gamble (Supernatural). Michael London and Janice Williams are producing.

The books — the first of which was published in 2009, centers on a group of New York twentysomethings who, while studying magic, discover the fantasy world they read about as children is all too real and poses a grave danger to humanity. The trilogy — The Magicians, The Magician King, and The Magician’s Land – has been published in 22 countries.

This isn’t the first crack at the small screen for the books. In October 2011, a drama series adaptation was preemptively acquired by Fox – also produced by London, who had optioned the books. It had X-Men: First Class and Thor writers Ashley Miller & Zack Stentz aboard to do the writing but didn’t go forward. Grossman said at the time on his blog he was disappointed the project didn’t stick, but that it would be shopped to cable networks.

London brought on McNamara and Gamble, Syfy acquired their new take and developed it further. We’re hearing the story starts earlier in the book series than the Fox project.

Magicians is the latest move indicating Syfy’s push with scripted series. It just finished casting its six-part event series Ascension which premieres in November, and it has new series 12 Monkeys, The Killjoys and The Expanse on tap for 2015.
That was quick, for Syfy's usual development pace.

Sounds interesting, but I don't trust Syfy which sucks.

Well maybe more people should have watched it.

Maybe you should have told more people to watch it!

This is on you Kane!!! :argh:

they took off ALPHAS...**** SCIFY:cmad:

Never forget. Also, never forget how they screwed Eureka in it's final "season", randomly cutting the number of episodes. And Warehouse 13's final "season". Of course, I still bear the scars of them cancelling Farscape...

I love their shows, but goddamn it if Syfy doesn't know how to screw over shows. I think the Being Human crew had the right idea. Get out before Syfy screws you.

Dear Netflix,

Put the original series of The Prisoner on instant.

Sincerely,
Sawyer

Dear Sawyer,

We're currently working getting Felicty and Big Bang Theory,

With love,
Netflix

Don't speak for Netflix, b****! :argh:
