I won't stop complaining about it because they retroactively ruined everything by making the entire series a lie. Had they not kept that stupid ending then it would not have ruined a great series.

Agreed. I got behind on the final season and planned to watch it eventually, but I heard about the ending and won't waste my time. That ending killed any desire I had to rewatch the show. All so they could do some arbitrary twist.

You all can feel free to do as you will. But I'm not gonna apologize for seeing it as whiny and childish.

Only the comics and cartoons anyway. We're lucky the Netflix deal was spared from him being hands on

Isn't he producing Agents of SHIELD? That Dethlock concept/ costume had his stink to it.

Nice of the Friends cast to pose with those fans like that.

Time After Time, written/exec produced by Williamson based on the 1979 novel by Karl Alexander, chronicles the epic adventures of young H.G. Wells and his Time Machine using the book and its feature adaptation as a starting point. The studio behind the project, Warner Bros. TV, had been high on it, making “if come” deals with casting directors in the event that it was picked up.
The Death Of Eva Sofia Valdez, written by Cuban-American playwright Charise Castro Smith, is described as a sexy revenge drama with a supernatural twist and as MacBeth with a Cuban twist. It centers on Eva Sofia Valdez, an immigrant who rose from rags to riches and is a celebrated Miami entrepreneur and a champion for immigrant rights. But her success is fueled by an insatiable ambition that could destroy her family, a vendetta against the lover who betrayed her, and ghosts from the past who threaten to reveal the dark sacrifices Eva Sofia made to attain the American Dream. Marvel’s Agent Carter executive producers/showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters
Spark is described as a lavish primetime genre soap of passion, greed and hope in a Steampunk reality circa 2016. Set in an alternate history where gas and coal fuel the world, the drama centers on the battle for power between two rival families and a rebellious young woman with a spark of invention that could level both their empires. Michael Cooney (Identity) wrote the script and will executive produce with Sander and Moses. This is a re-teaming of Cooney and Sander/Moses whose drama Runner went to pilot at ABC last year, landing Paula Patton for the lead.

Considering he starred in the movie based on the book, I wonder if Malcolm McDowell could show up on Time After Time.

CW Orders Kevin Williamson Drama, 'Frequency' Reboot to Pilot
First, Williamson's untitled paranormal drama centers on a young woman who seeks help from a parapsychologist when she begins to experience paranormal phenomena. Williamson will pen the script and exec produce alongside David Nutter who will direct the pilot.
Frequency, meanwhile, was originally developed for NBC during the 2014-15 season, drama moved to The CW earlier this year. The remake of the 2000 sci-fi thriller hails from Supernatural showrunner Jeremy Carver, who will pen the script for the Warner Bros. Television drama (where he is under an overall deal). Feature film writer Toby Emmerich is on board to exec produce alongside Carver, John Rickard and Lin Pictures' Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz.

The CW's take is described as a reimagining of the New Line Cinema film and flips the lead's gender. It revolves around a female police detective in 2016 who discovers she is able to speak via a ham radio with her estranged father (also a detective) who died in 1996. They forge a new relationship while working together on an unresolved murder case, but unintended consequences of the "butterfly effect" wreak havoc in the present day.
Curious to see how something like Frequency would work as a series.

Greg Berlanti's Archie Take, 'Transylvania,' Mars Drama, 'Jane' 2.0 Round Out CW Pilots
Originally developed for Fox, Riverdale is set in present day and based on the iconic Archie Comics characters. It's described as a surprising and subversive take on Archie, Betty, Veronica, and their friends, exploring the surrealism of small-town life — the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale's wholesome façade.
Set in 1880, Transylvania hails from Fringe alums and CBS' Zoo team of Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Scott Rosenberg. Written and exec produced by Hugh Sterbakov (Hell and Back), Transylvania centers on a headstrong young woman searching for her missing father who ventures from Transylvania to New York, where she teams with a wrongfully disgraced Scotland Yard detective. Together, they witness the births of the most famous monsters and villains in history.
The untitled Mars drama centers on a team of explorers who arrive on Mars to join the first human colony on the planet, only to discover that their predecessors have vanished. Led by a woman whose husband is among the missing, the colonists are forced to change their mission from exploration and settlement to investigation and survival, while navigating the hostile planet and their own personal demons.
From Jane the Virgin duo Corinne Brinkerhoff and Ben Silverman, hourlong comedy No Tomorrow is based on a Brazilian format (How to Enjoy the End of the World, which was nominated for an International Emmy in 2013). The comedy centers on a risk-averse, straight arrow, female procurement manager at an Amazon-like distribution center who falls in love with a freewheeling man. She finds out that he lives life to the fullest because he believes the apocalypse is imminent. To comedic and poignant results, they embark on a quest together to fulfill their individual bucket lists.

why wouldn't they renew it? it's what keeps the bills paid at NBC

they make what I like to call "F*** You money" on L&Os tv rights and syndication deals

Amy Poehler To Direct Her Charlie Grandy NBC Pilot
Written by Charlie Grandy, the untitled pilot (aka Dumb Prince) centers on a reluctant Crown Prince. After years of partying that earned him the “black sheep” label, Karl returns home to compete with his brother for the family throne.

Fox Orders Comedy Pilot From John & Dave Chernin, Randall Einhorn To Direct
Written by the Chernins, the untitled comedy has a fish-out-of-water theme. It centers on a hard-living, foul mouthed woman who moves to affluent Greenwich, CT to raise the spoiled kids of her wealthy sister who has fled the country to avoid a federal indictment. She quickly learns what the rest of us already know — other people’s children are awful.

Both writers and director come from It's Always Sunny.

Interestingly, when we chatted up DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns at TCA — just days after TNT let slip the bad news — he shared, “We [at DC] have known about [Turner nixing Titans] for months and months and months. That’s not new news to us.” The silver lining: Regardless of the basic cabler’s decision, “We have plans for Titans,” Johns asserted. “It’s a huge piece of DC and we have plans.”

Interesting.

'Cruel Intentions' Sequel Ordered to Pilot at NBC
NBC's Cruel Intentions picks up more than 15 years after the 1999 movie left off. The drama follows the beautiful and cunning Kathryn Merteuil as she vies for control of Valmont International as well as the soul of Bash Casey, the son of her brother, who was the late Sebastian Valmont and Annette Hargrove. Upon discovering his late father’s legacy in a hidden journal, Bash is introduced to a world of sex, money, power and corruption he never could have imagined.
If Kathryn's involved, it's SMG or bust. :o

'MacGyver' Reboot, Dr. Phil Drama Land CBS Pilot Orders
MacGyver is described as a reimagining of the television series of the same name, following a 20-something MacGyver as he gets recruited into a clandestine organization where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening.
As for McGraw drama Bull, the CBS Television Studios drama is based on the early career of the talk show host and explores his days as head of one of the most prolific trial consulting services of all time.
Realistically, I don't think anyone was asking for either of these, but you just keep on CBS'ing, CBS. :o

I've been wanting a Mac reboot for a while.

It'll be interesting to see how it works with all the advances in technology. It's not so easy to pull apart a bunch of things when they're all glued integrated boards now instead of wiring and big components.

Any new TV show created by Tina Fey has to have a catchy tune.

This one was a classic, even without the words:

and then the awesomeness of this one:
