Yes, her hotness has flown under the radar for too long.

I went into the Big Bang Theory thread out of boredom and saw people that I actually like in there.

This must be what it feels like to find out your next door neighbor is a serial killer or something... :o

Haha. Very nice. My wife loves it. She doesn't believe me when I tell her no one who is actually into comics and stuff actually likes it.

If you don't like the humor then that's one thing but there are plenty of people who like comics and the show.

It's nothing I get excited about. But if it's on, there are more annoying things to leave on.

There are a lot of scientists who love the show too.

Intelligence =/= good taste

I'm sure the writers room of The Simpsons is filled with some very smart people. Still hasn't been funny in years.

I wasn't going for intelligence, I was going for occupation. The same occupation as the main characters.

Also, your opinion =/= good taste :o

Your opinion = goose **** :argh:

:o

I wonder if ABC will stick SHIELD in that troublesome Thursday 8/7c timeslot or schedule it on sometime on Tuesdays.

I'd rather they not risk a new show, or at least one as promising as that one in such a ****ty slot. Put something preexisting there, maybe something on the way out anyway. I honestly don't understand why they didn't put Private Practice there last season and Last Resort in whatever slot that had.

As much as I hate the show, The Big Bang Theory is a goddamn behemoth. Don't risk putting SHIELD head to head against that. I'm sure many a nerd would be split.

Beau Bridges is set as a lead in CBS‘ untitled Greg Garcia multi-camera comedy pilot. The project, written and executive produced by Garcia, centers on Jack (Will Arnett), a recently divorced guy whose life gets more complicated when his parents have marital problems of their own. Their mother (Margo Martindale) moves in with Will, while their father (Bridges) moves in with Will’s sister Debbie (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) and her husband.

Sam Neill and Entourage alumna Emmanuelle Chriqui has been cast in the CBS drama pilot The Ordained, executive produced by Frank Marshall. Fringe alum Seth Gabel is headed to another potential genre series with a co-starring role on the ABC drama pilot Gothica. Set in the present day, the project weaves together a mythology that incorporates the legends of Dracula, Jekyll and Hyde, Frankenstein and Dorian Gray. It centers on journalist Grace Van Helsing (Janet Montgomery) who takes over her family’s hometown newspaper. Gabel, repped by ICM Partners, Management 360 and Felker/Toczeck, will play Roderick Usher, the district attorney and heir to the once-powerful Usher family who is carrying secrets.
Dammit, Gabel, you had to go and get me interested in this thing, didn't you? :argh:

Ben McKenzie To Topline CBS Pilot ‘The Advocates’, Brit Morgan To Co-Star
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

Southland‘s Ben McKenzie has been cast as the male lead in the CBS drama pilot The Advocates. True Blood alumna Brit Morgan also has been cast in the pilot, written by Bruno Heller and directed by David Nutter. For McKenzie, the casting is in second position to Southland, which is currently airing its fifth season. The critically praised cop show, which originated on NBC, has never been a big ratings performer and is once again on the bubble, but it has been a prestige series for TNT, which has not made a decision on its future. Both The Advocates and Southland are produced by Warner Bros. TV. Advocates centers on lawyer Shannon Carter and ex-con Henry Bird (McKenzie) who team up as “victim advocates,” going to the very edge of the law to right wrongs and fight for the underdog. Morgan, repped by Innovative Artists, David Dean Management and lawyer Stuart Rosenthal, will play Henry’s sister Rose, a tattooed and pierced supermarket cashier. She also did a guest stint on Southland opposite McKenzie last year. McKenzie is with CAA, Management 360, and attorney PJ Shapiro.
Can't be good for the future of Southland...

Gothica sounds a bit like Grimm.

Sooooooooooo.......

SHIELD
The Ordained
Intelligence
Rand Ravich project

...........are all fall pilots?

Yep. Well, they're in contention. We won't know their fate until Upfronts in May. SHIELD, being related to the biggest movie of last year, seems like a pretty safe bet to me, though.

SHIELD seems a lock, I hope the rest make it as they all sound promising and there isn't much else on the horizon that interests me. Any chance one of them may end up pushed to mid season like The Following?

Yep. And it's going to be awesome.

The Grimm-a-like Gothica?

I could dig that. I would say my only issue would be if there was a MNF game I wanted to watch, but I rarely watch TV shows when they actually come on. I usually watch either after it starts to fast forward through commercials or days later after work.
