Good to see NBC renew SVU, Chicago Fire and Parenthood (for a full season too!).

Probably because NBC decided awhile back that it was cool to cut their season orders down to, like, 15 episodes and end their seasons in about February. I'm not complaining, though. At least it's still on the air.

Yep. Only one of the new comedies has a full season order, and that's the one with Michael J Fox. It will have the benefit of a full season to see if there will be a second season.
I thought the status of this one was.......shaky

Get the **** out of here.

Dammit, I thought that one was already on the trash pile.

It will never die. Just like Kaley Cuoco's career. :o

Cuoco isn't that bad... she's actually one of the less objectionable parts of Big Bang Theory.

She's hot, but her character is pretty inconsistent in BBT. They try to hard to make her a dumb blonde for jokes which hurts her character at times when she wants to be taken seriously.

and isn't that her playing William Shatner's daughter in those Priceline.com commercials?...

and I think I've seen her in some other commercial as of late, as well...

IMHO, shorter seasons are better anyway.

Parenthood is expensive to produce with the large cast that's why the episode order has been smaller the last two seasons. Though it would've been better to have had more episodes this season as Smash bombed and then was moved to Saturdays. That's why there is a 22 episode order for the upcoming season.

Cop, doctor, lawyer.

It's a constant cycle.

We need some more diversity... A show about a taxidermist. Bates motel doesn't count :o

Considering their other two drama pick-ups, it's more like... Hostage, Counter-intelligence, Lawyer. :oldrazz:

Anyway...

They're basically holding all the new stuff I have any interest in until midseason. I'd be pissed off, but the lack of breaks might actually be beneficial. Then again, this past midseason didn't really turn out well for anything besides The Following, so.... :csad:
