‘Two & A Half Men’ Adds New Series Regular — Charlie Harper’s Long Lost Daughter
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Harper had an offspring?! CBS‘ Two And A Half Men will look more like Two Guys And A Girl next season. I’ve learned that the veteran comedy, which earlier this month was renewed for an 11th season, will introduce a new female series regular character next fall. The role, a high-profile gig for a young actress, will bring in a major plot twist to the show: I hear the girl, in her late teens or early 20s, shows up on Walden Schmidt’s (Ashton Kutcher) doorstep searching for her father. She claims to be a daughter of the house’s previous owner, recently departed perennial bachelor Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen). I hear the girl will eventually move in with Walden and her uncle Alan Harper (Jon Cryer). The new character is expected to fill the void left by the departure of Alan’s son Jake as Angus T. Jones recently exited as a regular after 10 seasons on the show. With the new addition, Two And A Half Men will have subbed two of the three characters in the title, following the successful transition from original leading man Sheen to Kutcher two years ago.
In keeping with the title of the show, the girl should be a hermaphrodite. :o:up:

How is this even.....wha?

What the f*** is even the plot to this show that can keep it going without its two original stars? It's basically a spin off now.

CBS really needs to just get off Chuck Lorre's jock. :o

thanks for my laugh of the day with that remark, Sawyer...

They got like a whole new crop of Lorre knockoff sitcoms coming this fall, it's time to let it go.

Even the non-Lorre one with Will Arnett looks like ****. What a waste of a good cast. They've got Arnett and JB Smoove and Margo Martindale up in there and everything. :o

Did they really say the transition from Sheen to Kutcher was 'successful'? :barf:

How about "The War on Chuck Lorre"? Sawyer already had the thread named after him already.

Fine. The War on Chuck Lorre the CBS Sitcom ****e will work I guess. :o

Hold on, Mike & Molly can be both funny and sweet. Has good chemisty between the characters.
Besides, Melissa McCarthy is probably the best female comedian I've seen in a long time. Every episode is a gem of a performance.

I do appreciate Mike & Molly or as it's also know as Mad About You the Plus Size Edition. :o

She was solid in Gilmore Girls as a side normal (but had faults) character. She's annoying in all of these new-age comedies in the fore front and her show. It's all fat, dumb, gross, loud, vulgar humor. From H3 to This Is 40 to Identity Thief to Bridesmaids. It all the same...

Mad About You is too awesome for that comparison.

True, but I believe CBS's successful sitcoms somewhat emulate the very core basics of NBC's in its prime. How I Met Your Mother is Friends, The Big Bang Theory is Seinfeld, Two and a Half Men is Fraiser and Mike and Molly is Mad About You. All they need is a Cheers and Just Shoot Me and they will officially rule the world. :o

Also Helen Hunt was such a b-word in that show...
