How would you like to see his costume handled on the big screen? I have done some photoshop on the Daredevil costume to make Cap America.

Ok....Why you people are looking but not talking, or have I smoke to much green or something

As long as there's no stupid wing ears I'll be happy

No man I Tried with the wings and it doesn'tmake any sense at all! The only thing really missing is the fish scale on his torso (I m too lazy). To be honest with you I think cap has one of the coolest costume but at the same time I can t imagine him with his shield talking in day light like spider man does. I m afraid the movie turns to a comedy.

I love the use of the red x.
It really conveys power.

My idea is essentially the Ultimate costume, but cover the ears.

sorry antoine nothings showing up

I agree with the guy who said the Ultimates costume. It's just a matter of getting the fabric right, like the Spider-Man film costume, so it doesn't end up looking like a cheap fan-made spandex suit.

Keep it the same. Wing-tips and all. The whole point is that this guy is a mascot. He takes pictures with kids for newspapers and stuff. He's a public icon (something I haven't been getting much with Ultimate Cap). With a character like this, they should keep the costume as close as possible. Plus it's already pretty realistic. Blue pants, black belt, red and white long sleeved shirt with armor over it. His cowl practically looks like armor itself these days. The gloves, boots, and wings are just for that added patriotic flair.

Please. They did such great jobs with Iron Man, Spider-man, Hulk, and (to a lesser degree) The Fantastic Four and Daredevil. Keep this one faithful too. I want Captain America the patriot, not Captain America the sleak super-soldier (with pouches on his gloves for no reason).

^^^^Agreed, even about the wings which i was originally against

Why not have our cake and eat it to, if you will? We could start with the more classic costume during the WWII period, and then a bit after he thaws out (maybe for the final battle) he could put on a more sleek, modern version of the costume with better armoring and the like.

Guys I don t know why my pic went out ...but anyways I ll be back with more soon!

I also have no problem with them having Captain America dress the the way he does in the comic, as long as they make his uniform the way John Cassidy drew it or the way the Perkins draws it now. Meaning that the blue chainmail on his chest are very defined (not like the original Cap movie), that his mask is sort of Batman molded to have more like a helmet look.
GOOD

Bad

(don't make his costume like this at all.)

I would look at the Spider-Man movies for costume refference, they made his costume look exactly like the comic, only a little jazzier for the movie.
and thats what they should do for Captain America.
I think they should have him in his original costume in the beginning and then after he is thawd have him in his new costume.

I say use the costume from Marvel Alliance which has no stupid wing ears.

i want the whole movie to take place in WWII, a period piece movie would rock. and then in the sequals he can be in modern times

As much as I like this costume, it does emphasize the soldier more than the icon and overall he just doesn't look like a friendly guy (and he isn't. The Ultimate version that is). This version looks like it would scare kids. I don't see this guy showing up at Make A Wish Foundation to hug little kids. Captain America is even more of an icon than Spider-man. Gotta remember that.

Besides, I think that cowl looks too plain. I like the new Ultimate Helmet he has going. :) The wings balances the look out imo...Plus you've gotta have the "pirate boots". :D

How About The Helmet From The Firsttv Movie ?

I could not agree more.

Yeah, I wasn't even thinking about that. I posted it cause I thought it was the most realistic but you're right, it's gotta be Iconic.

How About The Helmet From The Firsttv Movie ?
LOL

It's driving me nuts, I can't find a pic a friend showed me years back, a statuette with the perfect costume.

The cowl was stiff leather and a seam was visible up the middle, under the blue paint and 'A'. The shirt had very pronounced leather scales and the usual paint job. The pants were simple workman's blue jeans. It looked makeshift and homebuilt and a little dirty, perfect for a first movie occurring during the manic times of WWII. And it would hide the fact that the actor doesn't have John Cena's physique.

To complete the package...

Stark can bestow Cappie with the round one when he hits the modern age.

Somebody can tell me why I can t post my images? I click on insert image than cut & past my blog page the pic stays there for 5 minutes than disapear why?
