the new suit is slowly but surely growing on me

good things take time:-)

Hurm. I wasn't aware that cops, soldiers, and SWAT members are, in fact, Bob The Builder.
Yeah, but they arent superheroes either. That awkward belt needs to go from the comics. Nolan's belt works and looks a lot better. But even if you want pouches, you can always design them like in BTAS or something. Anything more modern, less awkward, less clunky and less buttcrack would suffice. But yeah, i forgot. I am talking to a dude whose taste is Batman with a robin cape. My bad.

Its good to see you guys together.
Hahahahahaha! Epic!

See? Its not just me that gets annoyed by the unnecessarily convoluted posts, use of words and essays on how the rest of use should rationalise what we post.

I photoshopped the crap out of this to get the accurate colors, and remove the blue tint along with the text, and went with a Begins amber color lighting. The legs are rough because of the enormous amount of text.

Does the new belt appear less wide than the Begins version or it is just the way it rests on the new suit?

So? It's fine for cops and soldiers, but makes Batman look like Bob the Builder?

Explain how it is more awkward than the Begins/TDK belt. As I already explained, the size of the compartments is going to be dictated by the size of the gear he is carrying. This means the compartments will be just as big and awkward or just as small and unobtrusive regardless of which belt he's wearing, and regardless of whether the pouches are metal or fabric. If anything, the the police-style belt will be less awkward, by virtue of the waist strap not being metal.

But yeah, i forgot. I am talking to a dude whose taste is Batman with a robin cape. My bad.
Yes, very clever. I am vanquished!

My posts are precisely as long and involved as they need to be to properly communicate my ideas. As I always say, being bothered by my writing is really your problem, not mine.

Moreover, I never said it was just you. I know there are plenty of people who don't like my posting style. Fortunately, I am really not concerned that some members get their panties in a bunch over my writing.

Nolan: "No" until proven rich at the box office.. :p

-TNC
I just don't see how Nolan can enter in to a franchise like this without anticipating sequels. Same goes for Eckhart, and his "I can't gaurentee I'll return" comment. Especially with Eckhart, who is basically setting himself up to be the main villain of the sequel.

Saint don't deny that you really enjoy writing long posts with tons of vocabulary sprinkled in for effect. I know you do. You clearly get off to sounding educated and putting dumb people in their place. Don't feel the need to respond with a paragraph because I really don't care, and I don't have a problem with it (I tend to skip lengthy posts sans pictures lol), but your sig says it all.

If it's any consolation, I enjoy Saint putting dumb people in their place.

Oh I never said I disliked it and I'm sure he will find some fault in my honest evaluation of his posting style, but I think he is a bit dishonest when he says his posts are exactly as long and as vocabulary ridden as they need to be. Clearly he puts extra effort in when it comes to putting idiots in their place as the case may be.

Just having fun, not that I EVER want to see Robin in a Nolan Batman movie... "he's in a crib somewhere" - Chris Nolan

What I enjoy is writing. I'm a writer. That pretty much makes the enjoyment of writing a pre-requisite. This doesn't change anything I said; it is still true that I write in the manner that is most comfortable for me, and to communicate my ideas as completely and clearly as I can.

As for using words for "effect," well, every word is used for effect, by everyone. That's how words work.

I know you do. You clearly get off to sounding educated
In terms of language, I have no more education than any other person my age. If I'm willing to admit that, I'm probably not especially interested in sounding more educated than anyone, don't you think? Such an admission would be detrimental to that goal.

and putting dumb people in their place.
Only half true. I certainly make a point of correcting people, but not as a means of putting them down or "in their place," except when what they say is meant to make me or someone else look foolish without warrant.

For example, you will notice that while I'm correcting you, I'm not "putting you in your place."

Don't feel the need to respond with a paragraph
Surely you didn't think this a possibility. If you don't want a reply, you shouldn't say anything to me.

People need to let it go.

I don't see what the problem is...are some of you that illiterate that it hurts you to read Saint's or even Regwec's posts??

There really are only a small handfull of posters in the Batman boards, if not 3-4(maybe 5)that type like Saint or Regwec(for examples:woot:).

After reading through posts that are either nonsense or just repeats of something you've heard too many times to want to remember, it's actually a nice change to read some well thought out posts...and with points to them as well.

Not saying the rest of the posters don't have good posts...a lot of you do, I just don't see why people need to hate on others who don't like to use slang and like to use proper/correct English.

Explain how they are more "vocabulary ridden" than they need to be. How "vocabulary ridden" should a post be? Also, what exactly is "vocabulary ridden?" How is one post more "vocabulary ridden" than another, when every single word ever committed to type is a part of one's vocabulary? How does using words that are comfortable to me make my post more "vocabulary ridden" than the individual who uses different words that are comfortable to him?

Clearly he puts extra effort in when it comes to putting idiots in their place as the case may be.
I am always confused when people describe my writing as requiring effort. Does writing the way you write take special effort? Why would the opposite be true of me?

Some do not write the way you do so they assume you take an "extra" effort in writing. In reality its just your writing style, and every writing style varies

Damnit man. What did I say? All that...none of that was needed. I never said what you did was wrong, did I? I expressed my feelings on the way you write. I think that at times it is silly, that's all. Yes I realize I post on a Batman forum and to the general public that may be silly, but I don't...I guess I just really don't like when you take someone, quote them, then break the quote up and criticize every single line. It just gets annoying.

He might as well just be Nightwing, if he's going to be that old.

Yeah that's it. I just can't understand the posts that's why I dislike them. You got it.

I'm surprised the word "brainiac" hasn't been thrown around at all during this little fued, I heard it all the time when I was in primary school.... Seriously though, I don't know about anyone else but I come on these boards to read other peoples opinions, not just two-line tittle-tattle between obsessive fanboys, so for that I thank posters like saint & regwec, for actually saying something, and if that takes an "essay", then so be it.

Hmm. After comparing both bat suits, the old one is still my favorite. I like the more edgier look of the cowl. The new suit is cool too (don't get me wrong), it is after all going in the right direction. Batman's suit is gadget mania, and only modernization will allow that.

Lol, while I was looking at the highlights that are on the newer bat suit. I made the mistaken of blurring my eyes. Now I have the image of Batman
in a bra to get rid of. Or a holster top, the abs do blend into the pecks.

I'm surprised Ellen's face hasn't been pasted on the Robin pic :p.

:hoboj:-Ahahahaha!
