holy bat-crotch!

That's a 3D render of a statue. You can't possibly evaluate the mobility of the actual suit based on that.

wow its like u guys are expecting batman to be walking down a runway in this movie.
Yes the suit could have been better constructed but in the end it still looks like

batman...and Im sure we arent going to see him embarrassed to fighti crime bc of the
way he looks.

Bruce- "Alfred how do I look?" Alfred- " Your really going out looking like

that? Master Bruce what are all the villians going to think of the way your pants look?"

good point. But on the other hand, its not like anything goes, just because he lurks in shadows and no one will see him, you know. There are limits to what is...tolerable...and this TDK suit pushes the boundaries further, for better or (more like and) worse. Still this suit here looks better than the real one, because its been simplified a bit. no straps, no useless details on the armor pads. its still busy, but its a step in the right direction.

A step in the right direction is a step towards the bin :D

For some reason, seeing those panels on Batman's posterior gives me flashbacks to those horrid butt shots from the Schumacher films.

You mean you can't see Fox going "Bruce, you see this little detail right here? that's what makes the whole suit work! without it, the entire thing would be useless!" :oldrazz:

Well, at least it's not a bat-thong

Actually I can, and who are you to say otherwise. Based on looking at the design of the suit, and knowing as much as we all do about it, you can clearly see it IS more mobile from the change of design and materials, and easier to move around in than the BB suit, your argument has nothing to back itself up, so unless you have something dont make a weak attempt.

If you had bothered to read my post properly, you would've seen I only stated you can't judge the mobility of the suit based on a 3D render of a statue, not on what Nolan and the costume designers have fed to us.

And if you have so much information, can you tell me what is the mesh under the rubber plates made out of?

Here is what I think is simply the best representation of what a live-action Batsuit should look like. The manip by Lujho.

That with the TDK cowl brow.
want to add some to my quote on your picture....i forget to tell you that its well made for what you wanted to achieve...please dont take it personal when i said that it lucks to dull;-) stating that arguing about personal likings and style will never lead to any result apart from annoyance.

Never stated that I knew what material it was, Ive heard people opinions on what it could be but no official statement from the designers yet about what EXACT material it is. To my knowledge its a very thin light material that obviously allows for more movement than anything else we've seen Batman wear in the movies yet, they wouldnt choose something that wasnt easy to move around in, thats common sense.

for that mesh i guess it should resemble some sort of chain mail ...its deffinetly not made out of metal like knights have worn, but it looks like that...it seems alot lighter and remembers me of the gloves that butchers wear

I hate the beak on that thing, I dont think thats what it really looks like, I dont know why it looks so weird.

I dont think thats what it really looks like,

Just like the BB-suit, and especially the cowl, it looks different depending of the angle....that there looks like some kind of breathing-apparatus though
