I really did think there was a specific Selina Kyle/Catwoman thread floating around here somewhere, hmmmm...maybe Im wrong.
I was watching the Begins extras on Youtube. One of them was about the suit and behind the scenes you could clearly see how teh puffy it was. You could clearly see the mobility issues and how the chest bulged forwards when Buster Reeves held his hands up (while he was holding the cable to the train). Post editing we couldnt see all these flaws and the suit really looked good.

You mean the suit or the ad? If you're talking about the 2nd, it's quite a common kind of ad in the US.

I hate how the gloves have a velcro fastener which is positioned over the gauntlets. It looks awkward and thick at his wrist. Couldnt the glove go under the gauntlet, where it would somehow fasten on his hand? I dont want to see the bloody velcro!
There are similar ads about many fictional/fantasy/whatever characters. I have to say, I kinda like them!

Well the brown hue gave it a BTAS feel. Just a bit.I haven't really liked the Begins or the DK suits but one thing I notice this time around that I personally like is that unlike the last movie, the suit isn't constantly lit or backdropped in dull brown. This time everything kind of has a blueish hue going on which is fine with me because I've always enjoyed comics and cartoon art where the blacks on Batman's suit are highlighted with blue.
Yeah probably. Poor batman! It's a ridiculous ad, but that's why it's so popular.
I guess it's an "American" thing.![]()
