That's pretty damn sweet. Actually made the original suit grow on me some more, though I still wish the colors were more like this one haha.

Try this out... see if you can make the entire upper body gray, save for the black Bat symbol, and then gray the mesh parts of the arms too(as well as the mesh parts that are inside the gauntlets.)
you mean the entire upperbody without the mesh but only the mesh at the arms? or did you ment the entire chest ?

Actually, Nameless Hero actually kinda did that last request o' mine, sorry Huminal.:woot:

God I wish I had Photoshop, I'd love to do the **** you guys are doing... but at least I know my problems with the suit were just because of the color scheme it had. It looks SO much better with what you guys did. If only Nolan could have put in a bit more gray.:woot:

Classic comic looks... I think if they had gone with the gray and black for this movie it would've worked very well.

Dude those are freaking awesome. I actually like the blue alot, I think it could work in a film.

The suit's finally grown on me, and it took two fans with Photoshop manips to make it happen... jeez. haha

There's a certain comical irony in someone chiming in to criticize another's effort or choice, and then misspelling the word '******ed'. :o

I never minded the change from grey to black. In fact, I find that that black actually looks better on a movie suit than grey. I would just prefer it to be like the comic in its shape and overall appearance i.e. more operatic and satuesque, rather than clunky and busy.

I would give my left nut to see this in the movie:

The original suit gets damaged in one spot.
Bruce asks for a new one.
Fox gives him the new one and tells him each part is replacable.
Bruce says something like, "So I won't need a whole new suit for every scratch."
Fox says something like, "That's the idea. Less work for me."

That's what sells me on the new suit. It looks like each part can be replaced seperately if it were to get damaged. It makes sense.

Good thinking, THAT WOULD TRULY SOUND AWESOME!

could someone maybe make the bat symbol gold? Like the color on his belt? I just wondered what it would look like... I've always loved the bat oval but I think it would be awesome if (there is one) in the third nolan flick that if he gets another suit, that the emblem is a gold bat but exactly the same shape and everything but just a different color. Thanks!!

I do like the suit better with the black and gray combo. But Batman still cant lift up his legs. If he tried to do a front kick he would have a piece of armor plating digging into his thigh or gut. *shakes head* Thats why the trunks were actually practical - mobility + support :cwink:

Saw this add on a different website:

See how much better the suit looks when they give it an organic look?

The gold is alright but that black + gray combo from before is my favorite. The increased visibility of the logo probably has something to do with it.

FINALLY got a chance to see the costume at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art today, and I must say that the costume inspires a big "meh" when viewed in person. It is incredibly intricate, and the fabric underneath the plating looks great, but the plating is ridiculous, especially on the legs. It is also incredibly disappointing that the chest symbol simply blends in with the rest of the chest.

The cowl itself, while a great design, looks very odd. The bottom part just seems...well, strange.

Hopefully it will fine on screen, though.

PERFECT.

Hey, can you make the cowl and gloves a darker blue (midnight blue), and keep the symbol black?

Indeed... here you have overworked suit design made better simply by taking a slightly more traditional approach.
