This movie has the potential to be the Dragon Ball ([BLACKOUT]and also the Superman [/BLACKOUT]) flick that we will never get.

I guess that's why Captain Marvel will be by far the most powerful superhero.

she is basically female Superman and considering that everyone knows Superman, when they see that she has the same power set+energy blast, they expect some huge scale battles and lifting feats from Captain Marvel, something they LOVE to see from the characters like theirs.

MCU has smart thinking.

I don't see her being on Thor's or Hulk's level strength wise, but I think a good level of strength along with her other powers is what will make her one of if not the most powerful Avenger.

Thor ain't that strong physically.

Even that is debatable. But, yeah, Hulk is much stronger.

I hope naming her the most powerfull hero is an exaggeration. I wouldn't mind putting her around Thor level I feel they already done this with Vision. Having multiple heroes at similar power level is more interesting to me than having one who is way beyond anybody else.

I am a huge Hulk fan but readily admit Thor is certainly not 'weak' compared to Hulk strength wise. Hulk just has the advantage of getting stronger as he gets angrier.

eh every blow that Thor gave to Hulk with fists only stagger him, AKA didn't move him an inch.

every blow Hulk deals to Thor sends him FLYING.

I never liked Thor vs Hulk fights in MCU because of that.

the comic ones are way better.

Frankly, for the MCU I'd be just damn fine with Carol having even a strength edge on Thor & Hulk, in addition to all her cosmic goodness.

It's cool if she doesn't too, but I dunno, I just hope they don't sort of nerf her like that Thor/Tony fight, or Thor in general in The Dark World. Just go all-out Superman with her, the MCU could use an enormous heavy hitter by now.

Yeah that was my original point, I don't see her being able to match Hulk and Thor strength wise, but her other powers along with her strength will make her more powerful.

They should put a lot of attention on her energy absorption power. Without it she seems like a female Superman clone. It is also something not done yet in MCU I think?

Honestly, I don't think Hulk actually is *stronger* than Thor, per se. He just has the advantage of being several times larger. Pound for pound, Thor has better muscles, but Thor is about 250 pounds, whereas Hulk is more like a thousand.

As for Carol, she doesn't need super mega brickiness, because "I screw with energy" is a much more distinctive schtick.

I wouldn't be surprise if she is as strong or stronger than Thanos.
