It's like a mini, anime CSI :D. The music sucks, but everything else, including the sometimes cheesy dialogue are fantastic.

I've only seen one episode, though, so I can't really correctly judge the series. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the manga of this series entitled "Detective Conan"? It looks so familiar.

    Discuss.

He saw two theif like guys doin stuff that they shouldn't of been doin, and he got caught. The two guys knocked him out and gave him an experimental drug .................when he woke up he was chibi. It's been a while since I saw it but I'm pretty sure that's the way it goes. Anyway for the rest of the series Conan's tryin to find the two guys that drugged him so he can get his normal body back.

    Ahh, now I get it.
The show has some pretty neat voice acting too; one guy for Jimmy and one for Conan.

Is the Manga similar to the anime?

Same here. Whenever I go to Barnes and Noble I always overlook the manga. Try going to Barnes and Noble or Borders, those places usually sell the manga in graphic novel form.

Loved the first couple episodes, but it was either too late or too early for me to watch.

Ya they pulled it off AS then started playing it after they ran the lineup twice. So it was really early in the morning. I think it was paired up with Big O one time for that hour.

Better hope for some big birthday bucks then. I was going to buy the Witch Hunter Robin complete box set one time but the whole thing cost $150. :( They tried to 'sweeten' the deal by putting Robin pins in there with it. :( Like that really wanna makes me want to spend that much of my money :(

Well I figured the DVDs would've costed alot less than that (maybe they do,I'd have to see) but yeah,I'd probably be only getting a PSP. Then I could look at it all day since I wouldn't have any games.:(

Most anime discs usually cost around $20 - $30 for 4-5 episodes :(.

I got lucky one time and found some great stuff at a discount store for $5 a piece. :D

Detective Conan is awesome.

I guess I was one of the few people here who collects the manga instead of watching the anime. I've been collecting them for two years now.

Tsunulia pretty much answered your question and you probably know it all by now, but I'll say it anyway. :o :p

Shinichi and Ran went to this theme park. Someone got beheaded in a murder. As usual, Shinichi solved the murder. The two men in black were one of the many witnesses. They were in a hurry. Shinichi suspected them after the murder was solved and followed them. The men in black was doing a trade. One of them was missing and snuck up behind Shinichi, knocking him out. They gave him this drug that was supposed to kill people, but instead, it turned Shinichi into a boy, Conan Edogawa.

Naturally, he ran to Agasha's home (his father's old scientist friend), fainted in front of the gate, Agasha found him and Conan explained everything.

He lied to Ran to live with her and her father (some drunk, hilarious, dumbass detective) cos of the fact that her father was a detective and the new cases will come in, hoping that one of those cases is related to the men in black, so that Conan (Shinichi) could get the antidote.

Along the way, he joined this school, befriended the rich/shy boy, the hyper/cheerful girl and the fat bully, and formed a group called The Detective Boys (I think).

Agasha gave Conan a voice-changing bow, a sleeping-gun watch, a pair of superstrength-kicking shoes and a pair of high-tech glasses (tiny locators also come with it).

It's filled with laugh-out-loud funny moments, drama, thriller and action. Also, the death scenes and the culprits did scare me before. I jumped out of my seat a few times. (Lex <--- scaredy cat)
