Photography with the cast is due to start on Thursday from what I have been told. And Tim indicated as much on his blog when he said it was exactly two weeks until they started (he posted that on the 17th).

Last I heard, don't quote me on that (although you just did ), I will try and get full confirmation.

So they're either filming now, or will start filming very soon. Cool! I have a feeling there will be more green-screen work this time around, so we might not see the actors out on the streets as much, but we could start seeing some photos soon.

Tim S. said they were working on some production diaries several weeks ago, but I haven't seen anything on that yet.

When John originally told me that he was scoring the movie, he said that he wouldn't be editing. He needed a break from it and wants to get back to more composing for now... Thats not to say he won't ever edit a non-Singer film though.

Anyone know who got the role of the General's daughter. I saw her on set. She's quite tall, blonde, and quite beautiful.

According to Ottman's official site he did score and edit a commercial for Hitachi so it is possible.

However he does have a pretty full schedule with scoring duties on Night at the Museum, The Visting, FF2 and possibly an extended cut of Superman Returns.

He did some pretty amazing Dark Phoenix (with firebird) visual effects concept drawings for X-Men 3 which were quickly removed from his site and this one as well. Don't understand why Fox are so paranoia about us seeing those, Even though it was AFTER the release of the movie.

Anyhow, i think its a great addition to the crew.Check out his site!
